I don't blame him. A lot of cats from Nor Cal follow trends rather than setting them. Cats like E-40 are definitely an exception, but when you hear 9 million cats spittin' the same shit, you tend to stray from that region. For example, Dre doesn't really fuck with the South either. He's fucked with Face and Devin, but other than that you don't hear many south cats on a Dre track because a lot of the shit sounds the same. But you have East Coast/West Coast Killaz with cats like RBX, B-Real, Nas and KRS-1, and they all have completely different styles.

In this industry, Nor Cal cats won't outshine L.A. cats, and that's why L.A. cats are factors and most Nor Cal cats aren't...and if they ARE, it's because they LEFT Nor Cal.
