I agree. I used to love 40. He's still good, but just not the type of shit I'm into.

"A-wuh a wait a minute, I hear sirens
Oh that's the couple down the street
domestic violence
either them or the little girl in 306
she's always telling everyone that she gon slice her wrists
I guess that's the way it is in the life of sin
where you'll prolly end up dead, or in the pen
but my family ain't no better than the next
my auntie brenda turned her own sister in
for writing bad checks"
Damn bruh that is my song. "Things'll Never Change." Him and Pac came out with that song at around the same time right?

There are a lot of artists that have their own delivery, it doesn't mean their style is unusual. RBX's flow isn't unusual...in fact his flow pattern is kind of basic. His voice and the way he delivers makes it seem a bit crazier than it really is, but if you listen to him, it's not at all unusual.

I would have to disagree with u on this one. His flow pattern is pretty basic but to say RBX style as a whole aint uneak is crazy. I mean like i said you cant really compare dudes style to no one elses. So if that aint unusual or uneak than I dont know what is.

His shit is definitely unique, I just wouldn't say unusual based on the basic flow pattern. I'd say unusual would be cats like E-40, Tech-9, Mystikal. We have our opinions though, it's nothin.

Yea him and Pac both did those songs around the same time without knowing the other did their version. Shows they were on the same page as far as music was concerned. Both versions are off the hook and stay played on this side.

Yea, music was lovely back then. I remember in 1996, I thought 2Pac was larger than life...this old, seasoned cat that could spit a lot of game to the world. Then I turned 25 and realized Pac was still a baby when he was taken from us, and he wasn't even that big (physically)...I'm bigger than Pac was and I'm not that big either...and this man was responsible for the realest shit to ever leave a rappers mouth. This man tried to carry the world on his shoulders, and is a legend...it's crazy.

But yea, music back then had that emotion...that truth that a lot of cats are lacking today.

It don't matter what you say, really.

Cause as soon as you were like HAMMER & TOO SHORT BEEN ON SINCE BEFORE NWA... I pretty much realized @ that point, you are an idiot & laughed at every dumbass post you made after that.

What you fail to see is that aint aint Dre's responsibility to play into the underground scene.

Thats not his scene.

He has an eye & ear for talent.

If he aint puttin your favorite rapper on, maybe thats a reflection of your favorite rapper, not Dr. Dre.

...the truth hurts, folks.

& a side note to the whole Short & Hammer being on before Eazy, Cube Dre Ren & Yella shows your age.

I mean, just cause you are from Oakland dont mean that you gotta speak on Oakland shit you arent familiar about.

....it's okay to learn something, sit back....read more, post less.

Exactly.

He also did that Enter the Dragon beat for Scarface which Short was on.

STRATEGY
$hort only spoke in the intro of the song.....Face & Cube rapped over it......and I'm sure Dre would work with 40 if 40 came with a qaurter of a mill for one beat cuz that's exactly what Dre charges.....nd for the record Dre said he likes to fuck with new artist.....Not old ones.

Check this out I dont think u guys are listening. I've said nothing about Dre and the BAY...I said Westcoast. He ain't helping LA out either bruh..Aside from Bishop Lamont and Game, how many ppl has Dre put on? Or even given a beat to?

As far as Westcoast music and the Bay not being in the equation, u tripping bruh. Too $hort and Hammer were both on before NWA was. Bay niggas need to stop putting each other down. That's why we aint never goin nowhere. I understand that people say LA is more Westcoast than the Bay, but I take that as a compliment. The BAY stands on our own two feet, that's what makes us unique.
Hammer wasn't put on before NWA.....ur trippin.....And add the fact that u didn't know Dre was part of the World Class Wreckin Cru & u arejust now being exposed to those pix pretty much let's me know that u are very young & have a whole lot of music history to catch up to.
