Dre has been focused on HIS artists for the better part of the last 5 years. Why would he care about putting other people on? His money makers have been Em and 50, he never needed anybody else. But as far as the last Decade, he's put people like Scott Storch in the national spotlight. He's done shit for Knocturn'Al, he did 4 joints for Obie Trice. But for cats like Knoc, it's not up to Dre to catapult that dude to success...it's up to that man's label.

Dre is a businessman. If an artist doesn't put the cake on the table, Dre isn't going to fuck with that person, period! This is a business, it's not about giving people a break because they are from the same side as you.

I havn't once critized Dre's body of work. Not once have I overlooked what Dre has meant to the coast, or the rap scene in general. I said was that Hammer and Short hit the scene before NWA did...At least Short did, and that was just to note that the Bay has legends that have been in the game just as long as LA has.

The only criticism I had of Dre is that I wished he would do more for artists on the West coming up. That's not me disrespecting what's he's done for the coast, it's me stating what I think he could do to help out the cats where he's from.

I mean bruh what the hell are you teaching me? Not a damn thing. Maybe it's not Dre's responsibility to put anybody on. Maybe Dre is just way too big for some random underground nigga. But think what rap would be like if everybody had that attitude. None of them LA cats are about extendin a hand and puttin on or workin wit artist from other places in cali on. They hella selfish and got way too big of egos. Game is the only one that's ever really tried to model how other regions get down by tryin to put the whole coast on and I respect him for that. And yeah dre or none of them cats have to do anything for any artist if they dont want too. But imagine if they did. Imagine if we operated like the south...where would we be? The reason we havent been on is exactly because we dont operate like other regions. The only way you gon survive in this game is if you have unity period. if you the hottest producer on yo coast why not extend yo hand to every one on yo coast so that all artist can be successful thus keeping our artist in the spotlight nationally?
