lol @ the idea that a Dr Dre should feel obligated to produce everybody who's from California
Best post in this thread thus far, and I've been saying this shit for a year or so now.....

Yall DONT need Dre for the west to be stable, yall need to get the fuck up and make moves and stop waiting on Dre to hold your favorite rappers hands....J.R. Rotem is from the west coast, but I dont see no one complaining when he makes beats for south and east artists outside of doing production for west coast ones.....

Maybe he doesn't like 40. He's introduced 3 of the highest selling hip hop artists of ALL TIME. Maybe he's more interested in selling a million records than recording with 40. I know this may be hard for a lot of you to believe, but there are a lot of people that actually don't like 40.

It's almost disrespect that Dre doesn't want to work with 40...
Uh ... no.

Is there actually such a thing as 'almost disrespect'?

To reiterate:

1) Dre is a grown ass man and aint gotta do what he don't want to do regardless of why he doesn't want to do it.

2) Y'all get wrapped up in geography too much.

dre doesnt have to do nuttin, but this just proves that hes not a real west coast dude and he could care less if the west is successful as long as he is.

E-40 aside, how can yall honestly sit here and say that you see nothing wrong with Dre turning his back on the coast that he helped build? Where's his pride in where he's from? I know he a businessman, and money comes first...but no matter how much money I'm getting, I would never turn my back on where I'm from.

LOL

at some of you cyber Commandos calling dre a bitch for being his own man. Looks to me like dre uses common sense and not jump on bandwagons like a few of yall do, imo dre and 40 would be a horrible combination it just wouldnt sound good they styles are way different.

Why didnt Dre ever contacted E-40? Maybe Dre doesnt like E-40, lol. Fuck Dre anyway, dudes not that tight nowadays, there are better producers on the westcoast anyway, more importantly better producers for E-40. And what difference does it make how many 40 sold in LA? Like Dre's watching the sounds scan like "Once 40 hits 60,000 give him a call, but not till then" lol
