damn maybe I got some bad info, my bad yall, but it came from a reliable source who is deep in the industry

my fault, I don't like to be part of the rumor mill, but I thought yall would like to know somethin like that, but I wouldn't have said it if I didn't think it was true and came from a good source

Am I the only one who thinks that an all star remix with some of the biggest (non bay) rappers is a phenomenal idea for U and Dat?
i'm with you on that one. People want bay artists to only do remixes with bay artists........when in my opinion the remixes sound WAY better with other artist around the country. I mean if you have all bay artist in a remix what's something NEW that they're goin to bring in their lyrics that isn't affiliated with the bay area???? Yeah they all have flows but i've seen too many bay cats collaborate with each other too many times. They need to expand their horizon and reach to the other artists around the country(i.e. ny, fl, tx, Il, Mis, etc etc).
i mean take Killa Klump(styles p), E-40(lil jon, jadakiss, fabolous), B-Legit(d-block), Yukmouth, Assasin, Cognito, and a shit load of other artists that have made moves with other artists outside of cali are the ones making real moves while the bay artists collaborate with the same artists, they always collaborate with, are stuck in cali making moves only around the area they live in(not true for all artists just the majority).

take killa klump for example: he's a somewhat new artist and his first hit, IMO, was Go Hard ft. Styles P.....that dude made the smartest move in his career. When i first heard it(song) on DJ Envy & Big Mike Presents: Myspace Masses Mixtape....i was blown away because that was the hardest track on the whole mixtape(besides Game's & Fabolous tracks) but regardless it's makin me look into more of D-Blocks' artists. The same could be said for B-Legit's song Block 4 Life w/ Jadakiss, Styles-p & Clyde carson. It opened the door for D-Block(not that they need it but it doesn't hurt one bit) and B-Legit.
Those 2 tracks are the ones that have longetivity, IMO.

When E-40 did a collabo with Fabolous it got alot of mixed reactions....but for those who are openminded and listened to the song some people looked into Fabo's music or vise versa.

Look beyond the bay's music scene and look at what else you could embrace outside of cali. Cause if your collection consist of nothing but bay/valley music you're one dimensional, thick headed, and close minded......

that's just my opinions on collaborations.......peace!

a big problem

T-Pain ruins everything he toucheswith his wack ass singing
without T-Pain there probably wouldn't be a U & Dat period!!! and T-Pain & E-40 made the song together not just E-40. I ain't no Tpain fan and the only song i own of tpain's is U & Dat which came with the album that i bought and people are LOVING IT!!!!
