do u guys think if the bay blows up wit tha hyphy movement and alot of bay niggaz get in tha door do u guys think its gon help tha whole westcoast ca as far as so cal 2 r what because so cal/nor cal music is real diffrent so big labels might only wanna fuck wit hyphy up tempo party music

i was just thinkin about it how would it effect tha whole westcoast or will it effect tha whole westcoast r just tha bay

Personally I think that hyphy music sounds like shit and in no way would I affiliate So Cal music with that sound. If the bay blows up it would just be the bay I don't think any one is So Cal would put out that type of crap.

Don't get me wrong I'll bump some bay area shit as long as it's pre-2000. As a matter of fact I was bumping Spice 1's Amerikkka's Nightmare today. I'm just not into all that hyphy shit.

i remember hearin lil rob an sum other skeezer sayin "hyphy" in that "LA" version of Grillz....we dont hate on socal, shit bro, theyr playin that new Lil Rob joint just as much as any "hyphy" type of song...but that lil rob song aint like his other shit, that beat is fuckin bananners, shit, if he werent rappin or i mean talkin over it, id shake my shit to it cuz beat sounds like a hyphy type of beat...thats jus me tho

I got love for the bay,but i dont beleive in no movements,It seems Like that closely relates to more or less what a majority listen too,but By the time it catches on,I feel listeners will be wanting to hear something else.As an artist I would be leary as far as promoting myself as part of the movement,cause when that shit aint crackin..you probably still wear that label.Does everything come full circle?Will there be another G-funk era? I feel when the down south and atlanta scene strats to fizzle,there will be more of an opportunity because..it will be an even playing field,cause all the varieties of rap will have had its turn,We got alot of shit poppin on the west over the next few years...Mitchy slick, Glasses malone,Roccett,Irocc,wallet,Young hoggs,Bishop Lamont,Young hootie just to name a few, so the ball is gonna be in our court,it will be that time when We need to show and prove,and support.California is a Big market in music,if we supported our artist like they are doing elsewhere then we would have more business opportunities

Im not a Bay hater, but it seems like the bay isolate themselves and is just 4 the
Bay(not all of em though). What about So cal? Seems like they forget 2 respect
us sometimes. I could be just gettin it twisted though because I know its alot of squares on here(tha net)who dont know how the streets think and they make yall

what you gotta realize tho is america dont care about real music, all the shit you hear on the radio is shit ppl coulda made in 5 minutes,, i aint from the bay or so cal, but the direction the bay is goin right now is more club mainstream... which infact, will translate easier state to state then a well orchestrated composition...

just cause thats what the females and teenie boppers wanna hear
