Yeah 40 came tight on that one. But really, that track's not what I expected to hear from you. When I heard it, I didn't say"That's a Rythm X track". So take that as a compliment cause I love that track, and it's a lot different than Stay Off My Grass or Da Bumble you did with the Funxsouljaz. I'm looking forward to hearing another one.
Damn Smit, you know too much. How did you know about DABUMBLE? I did that after midnight wit a dimlight at their studios up in Rosetown. I try not to sound the same with every track. I don't want to be labeled like "Oh, that's another TRACKMOGULRHYTHMX track". RickRock got that alot until he switched it up with that new Busta /Mariah joint. That's what I'm talkin' bout rit there. Never sound tha same cause each artist is different regardless if they want something to sound like someone elses shit or not....Good Mob-servation Smit. Tha new track I did for Kweli and 40 is way different than tha other one.....I'm currently doin tracks for some big names in the east coast and here in L.A(but I can't disclose their names cause I don't wanna hex tha deal and I don't know if they will in fact make it on their new album) But, I'm working local with Young Dru's new album and his shit will soon raise eyebrows big time and the ones that DJMark7 did on his shit are fucking incredible!.......Take Care. Nah man, people knows about it, that shit is worldwide, its on that Capitol B CD, its a cool track, hella different style with that bluesy guitar lick but catchy as fuck... I got peoples who don't check for too much hip hop who still be feeling that cut...

That was the infamous FLATTOP(C-BO,2Pac,E40,Spice1,MobBossProductions) on the bluesy guitar licks on that song with me and Paulay from Tha Reservoir Hoggz with Tha FunxSoulJaz. I wish I could've mixed the song down myself cause some shit wasn't turned up enough or some too much. But it was fun to make and those FunxSoulJaz are my potnas fo life. My new shit still remains like LongOverdue cause I'm an original B-Boy and HipHop is in my blood like my drive and urge to hustle. I just happened to be in tha mobb and the mobb always keeps pulling me back in......tha new shit is way off tha circuit breaka. For now, producing is more fun than rapping cause I get to experiment with different people who have different styles, voices and characters. I'm actually having a good time and the money is nice right now. I can't complain. Yep yep Rhythm UK right now but it ain't nothin, I still got way too many bay CD's so it's all good... matter of fact after that cut on the Capitol B CD, the smoked out one on the first Johnny Z 707 CD, the Dopefiction cut on the Sickwidit comp I had to go swoop Long Overdue....
It was cool to hear someone lace up a whole new style, more experimental, less tied down to the mobb or laid back sound, a little of it all... some original shit... best of both worlds as they say.
Been bumpin Sickwidit CD's for years got damn near the whole lot so when I heard cats on BART a couple of years back tripping off Comin From The Mountains as being a classic I had to put $70 on the Long Overdue CD off Ebay before I missed it forever.
You can definately hear the B-Boy with the cuttin and samples... thats some classic shit, another one people over here trip off when I let them peep it... and damn near anyone breaks a smile when they here Cheers mixed in.

I see ya from time to time on here mentioning some production work you doing.. don't suppose you could drop a list on us of recent work on the boards cuz I don't want to sleep on nothing any Sickwidit affiliate is puttin out or producin on....

We both freaked the drums and chopped the samples different, but it's way too obvious for me to use now. Ya beat me to it!:angry:

I sampled that shit 2 years ago and it was locked up in a vault til 40 told me that Smokey Robinson wanted to do a song with him by way of a mutual friend Merton Hanks. I told 40 that I already had about 5 Smokey beats and gave him that one and another and he was like "Pimpin, that's tha one me and Talib Kweli was feelin, so we spit some shit to it real quick like". I'm still going to do one for Smokey Robinson and 40 but for now, everyone at Jive and Rawkus is feelin that one with TalibKweli....Obviously you have good tastes BallerB.
