Vallejo rapper E-40 visited the 49ers on Sunday and shot a music video about football featuring wide receiver Terrell Owens, quarterback Jeff Garcia, tackle Derrick Deese and running backs Kevan Barlow, Garrison Hearst and Fred Beasley.
The video, which will appear in a few months on the BET network and MTV2, also will include Raiders Dana Stubblefield and Charles Woodson.
All the 49ers got solos to dance in front of the camera, and E-40 said Garcia and Owens were the best of the group.
Players emerged from the locker room to chide their cohorts. Tackle Scott Gragg, a staunch Republican from the University of Montana, took a look at the scene, smiled and said, "I'm going to my truck to listen to some country music. "
Those who took part seemed to have fun. Beasley was asked if he could rap and he said, "Yeah, but I don't know if I'm going to make sense or not."
