"Tell Me When To Go" is doing pretty good on the radio down here in Arkansas. It plays once an hour on the main hip-hop and top 40 stations. I have even heard the remix a few times. People are up on 40 down here so when "U and Dat" drops it will be hot on the radio and club scene here. I work for a wireless company and I have the E-40 gif's from his web site in my signature of my email. A few people that saw that didn't know he had an album out went and picked it up. Bottom line advertise in your email at work! It is an untapped resource!

Flop or no flop. E-40 is carrying the bay on his back right now (and has been since). To me, that's all that really matters. I could care less about 40 actually getting his 2nd win, but either way, the bay area scene has been looking waaayy better than it has in the past years (thanks to E-40).

And to answer the question of the threadstarter, I think that the hyphy movement is like a thizz pill--it's taking it's time. Everyone smokin' newports and lights, but nobody trying extacy pills. Meaning, it's new. Trends take time to catch on. They reach it's peak, and eventually die down. While the hyphy movement is just catching on to another audience, bay cats are probably creating the new scene to keep us on the map. Who knows? Maybe the hyphy movement will last forever. But whatever the case may be, I'm not gonna deny the fact that I had fun during the time of ghostriding and stunna shades.

I'm not giving closure to an ending movement, THE HYPHY MOVEMENT HAS JUST BEGUN!!! Believe that, nukkah...

Well Lil' Jon produced "U and Dat" and he also produced other songs that use the same instruments. Thats just his style. Either way U and Dat's gonna get the dance floor movin'.

I think e 40 iz doing just fine. If he goes platinum or double, tripple, whatever its all good. I think everybody expected him to come out smashin sales like 50 cent, and the hyphy movement was gonna sweep tha nation, not the case. E-40 kicked it off in a real big way, but its up to tha other newer cats to run wit it and colab wit each other like all them ATL, Houston cats do between themselves. For that one E40 hater that said he flopped, you hella stupid!

i've been a 40 fan from day one but this new album is totally garbage i hated it it sounded like a down south album we old school 40 lyrics. He should have kept it e-40 instead of bowing down to doing down south music. Its like the bay doesn't got it's own personality any more! They put gold in thier mouth down south these niggas put gold in they mouth they where dreads down south these niggas wear dreads, they get crunk= bay niggas get hiffe = same thing its getting ridiculous when did it become cool to look like Whoppi Goldberg and LiL jon's child? But anyways thats beyond the point i miss the Real E 40 shit that I use tyo bump daily! But whatever its just an opinion don't get all butt hurt about it... trust me I got major love for 40 and would buy his old shit any day.... But this new album sucks balls shit i tried to like it i just couldn't feel it. but I still wish him major success. he is a west coast nigga and i'm ah support him regardless that's why i bought the c.d even after i heard it an knew it was garbage! These are just my opinions which i am entitled 2 as you are entitled to your own....
