i got fools out in wisconsin diggin this album , guys and girls that used to hate him now really dig this cd . i think he needs to get that second single out , and maybe do features on nerdy popular songs like bun-b's been doin for the last 2 years and it'll work .

so u dont think tha album is hot? i think thats the best album of 06 its only like 1 song thats garbage and why is that nigga skits on some down south shit but other than that its solid i'm still waitin to see how many mics it get in the source

No, I think It's hot. I love the album, I really do. I just say it's a flop coz it ain't sellin, I guess people aren't catching on. And to the guy that said below 300,000 is a flop, I didn't know that. Well, I guess technically he won't flop coz he should do a lot more than that, but the sales are dissapointing none the less. I still think he'll pick up after the second single though, real talk..

Man... I don't think the album flopped b/c it sold about 100x as many as any other Bay album in the last 3 years, but I think some of y'all just had expectations waaaay too fuckin high. Some of y'all was really waitin for this shit to sell 4 million and shit.

i'm a 40 fan ya dig and i'll never shit onhim and i dont think anybody is dissin him yadamean but the way hip hop is its like u have to go gold or plat right away and its not like that 40 aint never talk about being shot or anytinhg thats facsinating to white america ya dig he stayed consitant and kept his foot in the ground wit quality and that is better than goin plat to keep put albums out reppin were i'm from and not playin the field to much is cool wit me, u see how 50 is goin down and a good example to go wit the way 40 is goin is nas now think about that

A flop is based on the amount of money that the label put into the project. 40s numbers arnt that impressive based on the amount of push he is getting, plus he has a movement attached to it so some people are buying his album just based on the fact that they want to know about Hyphy. 40 is a vet and he already has a major fan base. You can't compair 40 sales with anyone out here because he is a major label artist...not an independant. In theroy numbers wise its not a flop, but its not successful at all...but as far as getting attention for the bay...its been a success.

Yeah, I think some people only consider this a flop because the promotion Warner Bros is giving 40, but from what I've heard, their on the right track. 40 is #11 on radio spins and is still climbing and #8 on 106 and Park today. I dont think it's a flop yet, if the album fails to reach gold, then i think its a flop, if it reaches gold, then its an accomplishment.
