I been going bacc and forth to court for a DUI now for awhile but a few days ago I just got tired of the shit and told them I'm pleading guity. This is my 2nd offense. The judge said since I pleaded guilty he was gonna give me the minimal, he still threw the fuccin' book at me, but if he gave me the max it would've been alot worse. One of the orders he's going to issue is to have a Interlocc Breating Device installed on my car. If I don't it's a violate of my probation but I'm not tryin to put that shit on my car. My lawyer told me to sell the car and tell them I sold my car. I'm not really sure what if he's telling me to lie but I didn't ask, I don't really trust him for some reason after I got a call from his office one day asking for some info on my car. I'm thinking about just telling the judge I sold the car but I don't know if he will ask me to provide him with proof that I sold the vehicle. Do yall think he will? After you sell a car does DMV give the seller a document or something that states the car is not registered in their name anymore? I don't think the court will contact DMV, they have more important shit to do. It's to my understanding they don't really interact with one another. I know this from my previous DUI. What do y'all think? Any help would be appreicated, I need as much feedbacc as possible.

I don't know where you are at Con. but here in Washington once the court tells you that you need a ignetion (sp) lock in your car it is on your record that you should have one if you are pulled over. Plus you have to go get a new license that on that states you are supposed to have one. Like you said in your last post "i've took into consideration that he may just say i'm in violation if i drive "any" vehicle registered in my name without the device installed" You will be in violation for sure, it doesn't matter about the car, it is about you operating it. If the car has a lock on it, you can drive it, if not they will lock you up ( it doesn't matter if it is registered to you or not).

I got my lock off about 6 months ago. I had it for a year and it was a pain at first but I got used to it. Just make sure you don't have any alcohol in your system (if you still choose to drink...like I did) when you blow into it because it will record it and they will know about it when you get it serviced every month. It cost me like $75 a month for the whole year...that shit killed me more than anything about it.

If you got anymore questions ask me man I know alot about the locks, I have had one and so have like three other of my homies (might be a little different depending where you are at but prob. not much). Good luck with it man and play it smart.

damn, good looking. given the fact that you've had one before i have a couple more questions for you. i'm from cali so i doubt its much different than where you're from, probably more expensive. how much was it to get installed and is that shit hella big? i don't wanna be driving around w/ this big ass breathilizer in my car. but there's really no way to get around it cause like you said it's probably going on my record. did the $75 cover the cost to get serviced every month also? that's kinda steep but it's probably more expensive here.

Contagious Locc. I got mine installed for free as part of a deal they had here at the time..but I think it was like around $60-$80 after the deal. The one I had from "Start Smart" was about the size of old school cell phone..not the really big ones..the size that where thick but fit in the palm of your hand..like about a 1995-1997 era cell phone. Also no the $75 dollars you had to pay every month for the service (once again atleast here in Washington) Plus when you get it removed it is like another $30-$40. I know Washington is up there in the prices so it shouldn't be too much of a difference.

Good luck man and if you need to know anything else hit me up and I will help you out as much as possiable. I know a couple of ways to bypass the ones we had up here ( but I wouldn't reccomend it because if you get caught again you are fucked...but I bypassed mine a few times).

you caught a bad one.my boy got 3 DUI's in a year, the second one he flipped his mustang on a freeway offramp.after the last one they wanted to throw him in the pen but he got a lawyer and beat it.he still got i think 4 months in county.but im sure the judge will check with the DMV if you say you sold the car considering its a pretty big deal.i remember when i was in court one day this cat told the judge he sold the car and the judge called the DMV right there on the spot to confirm it............

I would imagine you'd have to provide a copy of your "Bill of Sale" if you tell them that you sold your car homie......
