bwhahahahahahahaha READ THIS BELOW BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The Broncos agreed to terms early Tuesday evening on a three-way deal that will send Lelie to the Atlanta Falcons once the paperwork is completed. The Falcons will send, according to two league sources, running back T.J. Duckett to the Washington Redskins and the Redskins will send a combination of draft picks to the Broncos.

Based on the two teams' finish in the upcoming season the Broncos, at best, could end up with the Redskins' first- and third-round picks in the 2007 draft if the Redskins finish with a worse record than the Broncos.

In that scenario the Broncos and Redskins would flip-flop first-round picks with Denver moving up and the Redskins moving down. The Broncos would then get the Redskins third-round pick as well.

If the Redskins finish with a better record than the Broncos, Denver gets the Redskins' third- and fourth-round picks next April.

Neither Broncos general manager Ted Sundquist nor coach Mike Shanahan could be reached for comment Tuesday night.

The three teams were not expected to complete the paperwork on the trade until late this afternoon at the earliest. The trade will be official when all players and teams have signed the documents.

The Broncos are also believed to have made the trade contingent on an agreement from Lelie to pay the team just over $1 million

damn denver got ripped but so did atlanta by giving up duckett. the clear winner is washington. i wonder what kind of damage the portis and ducket backfield can do
what the hell are you smoking Denver got ripped??? HOW????

He wasn't going to play another down for Denver, so not only did we get 2 picks for him we could possibly move up to a higher first round pick as well as getting 1 million in cash back ALL FOR A PLAYER THAT WASN'T NEVER GOING TO PLAY AGAIN FOR US.

Ducket is shit why do you think ATlanta got rid of him for nothing, and in return they got a crybaby player who cant block, cant run up the middle, and will be useless since thier QB can't throw accurately.

Washington got a back-up running back but in return has to give us 2 picks 1 of which could easily be an early 1st rounder....for DUCKETT.

Dude Denver by far got the best end of this deal.

even for just a third we come out way ahead....we get a pick for a nonplayer and we get cash back from fines..so thats worst case scenario and we still come out ahead.

id take a third rounder for him anyday...especially since he wasnt gonna play..i like how denver has been stacking picks that last two seasons

Tell me about it. We are now in a position to move up again next draft, or just have a nice surplus of picks to go get depth.
