^^ When you put yourself out there like that you open yourself up to all kinds of criticism...some constructive...some not. He's a very young kid...so he's got everything working for him...just needs a lot of polishing IMO.

Everybody nowadays is a punchline rapper...that means to me your shit has to have that EXTRA wow factor in order for you to stand out.

haha,

"she wanna do me and ima let her (letter) like the alphabet"

that shit was can.

im more then sure if i was to buy his cd that i would skip a few tracks on it.

haha yal wanna play the age factor game?

ok quinn be blappin heat since he was 13 years old.
Good point, Quinn at 13-14 kills Droop-E at 18. Droop's punchlines are just corny to me. They make me go "damn", but not in the "dayum, that's deep" way like some of Big L's lines*, it's more "damn" in the sense of "ah shit, this is what they call rap nowadays?"
Not too long ago I heard a Papoose line that went "I'm like a hospital for animals, I'm a vet" and I couldn't believe what a weak ass bullshit punchline that was. And this is coming from the "future of rap"? Fuck. I hope Papoose can do better than that.
Having a bunch of punchlines doesn't make you a "lyricist" if all those punchlines are easy and corny. If you wanna do it you better be witty as hell with it, else I'd rather hear you just go straight to point and put your heart into your shit.

*"I wasn't poor, I was po, I couldn't afford the O-R"
