EVERETT, Wash. (AP) -- The Washington State Patrol says a trooper arrested two men speeding 141 mph on I-5 in Snohomish County. The patrol says the trooper thought he was hearing an airplane early Sunday as the cars whizzed by going north, a 2005 BMW 330i with a 2007 Honda Accord right behind.

The trooper caught up with the cars because they had stopped for a passenger from one of the cars to get into the other.

The 22-year-old driver of the BMW, and the 18-year-old driver of the Honda were booked into the Snohomish County Jail for charges of reckless driving.

i punched 110 damn near all the way back from oakland on the i-5 yesterday

EVERYONE moved out of my way.

and yeah u can see them cops a mile away..and if you goin that fast youl run into a cop ahead before you see one in back of you

only thing thats wack about going that fast is if a small rock hits your window it breaks. i learned how to drive on a bmw 325i and i shattered the front window speeding from a rock,spiderwebbed all over the window by the time i got home

Shit, I can barely hit 50 MPH on the 5 down here unless it's before 6 AM or at night...too much fucking traffic. I was on that bitch for at least two hours today. Fuck the 5.

its really hard to tell how fast you're driving on I-5... at least in the central valley

you can hit 100+ easily without even realizing it

if you're speeding, you got to watch for the CHP, because they stay hiding behind bushes and overgrown grass in the center divide and off the side of the freeway

fastest i've driven was 127 down the carpool lane on 880 in fremont

I think the accords top speed is 160 mph but with the new tickets going to be given out starting July 1st fuck if im going to find out if thats right. $1068 for being caught in the carpool lane starting on the 1st.

haha...I did 139 on I-5 comin from bakersfield once...only for about 10-15 secs tho, fuck goin to jail over speeding...
