Yesterday, Dr. Laura Schlessenger shocked her radio show audience when she argued with a black woman about racism and—among other things—said the word "nigger" six times. Today, Schlessenger apologized for her incredibly offensive rant. Audio and transcripts, inside.

Here's audio of Schlessenger's original rant, which happened during a discussion with a black female caller who thought her white husband's friends were racist (the most shocking moment of which included Schlessenger saying angrily, "Black guys use it all the time. Turn on HBO and listen to a black comic, and all you hear is nigger, nigger, nigger. I don't get it. If anybody without enough melanin says it, it's a horrible thing. But when black people say it, it's affectionate."

i dont know what any of this is about, i didnt listen to the radio show or anything, but i hate when black people get all butthurt when someone whos not black says nigga and doesnt mean it in a racist way. dont waste energy getting upset over someone saying it cause they listen to rap all day or because theyre talking about the word itself, its retarded to expect people to say "the n-word" just so noone will be offended, i can understand on tv where everythings censored, but even in private conversation??? isnt it just as bad to go "whatsup my n-word!" so dont trip on people saying it and not meaning it, especially when theres people out there saying it who really mean it in the racist way, get upset at the racists, not the person who's just saying nigga for the hell of it

i listened to the audio... and i see what happened, basicly both people in the conversation were retarded. the host was retarded because she totally ignored the callers question and turned it into a whole thing about saying the word nigger, and the caller was retarded cause she thought the host was saying it in a malicious way. and now the host has to apologize which i think is bullshit, but whatever, none of this matters.

the caller isn't retarded my guinea (affectionate way), basically the caller was saying the N-word is offensive in all forms no matter who's says it, but that cracka ass cracka bitch (affectionate way) showed her true devil (affectionate way) colors like your wop (affectionate way) ass is. it's not hard to understand, not every black person says "nigga" or likes the word, it's still a racial pejorative to millions of blacks especially the civil rights-era so shut the fuck up and stop arguing to call us or say a racialized word get it you fuckin greaseball (affectionate way)?

i know that was just a joke, but i mean like im not trying to say its ok to go "shut up you fucking nigga" cause you could say any word there and it'd be a shitty thing to say, you could go "shut up you fucking pig, shut up you fucking cunt, shut up you fucking shitface" you could even say nice things and it'd be bad, "shut up you fucking sunshine, shut up you fucking sandwich, shut up you fucking titty" but if you said to me "whatsup my wop" or like sing to me "i love it when they call me big woppa", it's just like "eh whatever"... i mean, i might think your a douche, but i wouldnt expect you to apoligize for saying the word and claim that you have no idea how it makes me feel, you know?

I understand breh, but that bitch laura a straight bitch, she went into that advice with a chip on her shoulder, like I'm about to set these whiny black people right. That bitch actually thinks Nigger/nigga is not a offensive it depends how you say it. Really it's who says it cuz alot of southern white people pronounce the word as "nigga", too.

your being rediculous though, your making it sound like my goal is to be totally disrespectful. im just being honest about how i feel about it, the host only said the word nigger, she didnt say that the caller was a nigger, she was trying to make a point, but the point she was trying to make had nothing to do with what the caller was talking about, but should she have to apologize for it? no, cause she didnt mean anything disrespectful about it. also i just dont really give a shit about society enough to argue about this nonsense anymore, i dont give a shit if your offended. later.
