not that i necessarily believe this, but it was rumored that Dre was considering signing Brotha Lynch around the time that he discovered Eminem. i've never heard any kind of confirmation of this rumor, but it's interesting to think about.

I heard the same rumor awhile back. I don't know if itz true but I might have hit Lynch up on Myspace & ask'em bout it.

I remember reading in a magazine that he wanted to name his new record label Black Market Records but that the name was already taken by some Northern Cali fools.He also said that he offered to buy the name but that they wanted to much,so he went with Aftermath instead.But I don't remember
