If you were a new music artist, what more could you add to establish your brand. This is how it seemed SoulJa Boy came up. I was telling this young cat that wanted to start rapping to establish his "net cred", because "street cred" dosen't mean shit in this Digital Music Industry...Selling downloads off of MySpace, selling Ring Tones, doing a You Tube Video, and staying active with Live Performances, makes more sense to me instead of the old school Master P, E-40, independent street nigga formula. Hell, if you need CDs, they can even be burned on an as need basis. If anybody has any more advice I can pass on to this youngster, it will be greatly appreciated...
