Not much G-Funk has come out of Louisiana. The ones you posted are gangsta rap from the mid-90s, and they are great albums with some truly great music, but they aren't G-Funk in the strict sense of the term, and so is the case with pretty much everything that has come out of the state and that isn't rooted in the bounce tradition. The problem is that the term "G-Funk" has been overused and abused way too much due to various people with an agenda (usually to make other people buy CDs from them) other than having their terminology straight and as a result it is applied to all sorts of things it shouldn't be...
