They're both very overlooked.

Difference I think is Casual has a lot of industry love for his Hiero days and he's always been a frontliner on the underground Hip Hop shit.

yea your right, Cas got big industry love, i think the kind Quinn will never touch, but im sayin this is a Bay Area Rap board and Casual gets barely no love on here.........he should be the one everybodys pushin for cus he already got his foot in the door. Cas "can" blow up.......his biggest album was back in the early 90's, "Fear Itself". it had that jazzy east coast sound and most cats over here for the most part wasnt feelin it, it didnt appeal too much to this part of the country/state.his shit now, he still does that jazzy shit, but then he got that raw hard shit, cats still sleepin...........im just sayin, hes the best bet to blow cus he's already there, and he can do songs with anybody and sound dope.he can do a song with Wu-Tang and fit right in, and he can do a song with C-BO and fit right in,thats the shit that can appeal to the masses........

I agree with most of what you said, but Casual - Fear Itself does not remind me of a eastcoast album in the slightest! Its got just as much a westcoast feel as anything else. Me and my homeboys bought Fear Itself the day it dropped and is still to this day one of our favorite westcoast albums ever, westcoast classic imo.

Thing I like about Casual is he can do teh underground shit and also the more commercial type songs, hes a beast!

naw im sayin the music and style was what was mostly heard from the east coast at that time. Hieroglyphics,Pharsyde, they was the cats back in the early 90's that were gettin love cus they was a breath of fresh air cus the west coast back then was pretty much straight gangster. they had that east coast style. im not sayin it sounds east coast now, but it had that vibe at that time.when He Think He Raw came out years later alotta Hiero cats werent feelin it (i loved it)cus the sound was nothin like "most" Hiero shit. it was too keyboardy, not much sample. thats the reason why that album got a bad rap.Truck Driver and Smash Rockwell got a mixture........thats the dude that has the most potential then anybody in Nor Cal cus he can do any kind of show..........
