i absolutely hate it when friends or family owe me money

one of my buddies just gave me back my 20$ today from like a week ago, i mean its really no big deal at all we've been friends like 17 yrs id light the 20$ on fire before anything cause its just money but it just pisses me off hving money out there, not knowing if that person will forget, or "forget" you know what im saying, and thats where hating this comes in. happened like 5 months ago he "forgot" if he paid me for fronting him a dub sack, and so did i.. i just let it slide like fuck it maybe he really did give it back already i was really lit that night he said he did but since then its been really bugging me.. like did he really forget or did he think he could get over on me... cause i wont even let losing a bic lighter slide fuck that im calling people out.. so if he really did get over on me for a measely 20$ id burn the whole bridge cause anybody who purposely gets over on me is disrespecting me imo and that will not stand period, family or friends

I can see wit family but depends how close you are wit em.
But shit I didnt realize how much my uncles N aunts were borrowing money from my Gparents, in the 100's, shit pissed me off. Also they went so far that when my Gmother was in the hospital they still were askin. None so far paid them back, so wit that it jus made me look at them differently. To help em out when strugglin, I can see yeah, but jus for no reason.

Yeah, my cousin owes me $40. He called and asked could he borrow some money and I said cool, I'll hit you Friday (payday) then you could meet me at the bank. I was going to let him borrow $20 at first, then he seen my scratch and asked could he borrow $20 more because he needed lunch and gas money for a new job. It was Friday and he said he'll pay me back next Tuesday when he gets his last unemployment check. Tuesday comes and he sends me a text message hella early in the morning saying "I got you cousin". That was the last I heard from him til recently (SB Sunday) and this mf still didn't offer to pay me my money. Heard he did my other cousin the same way. I guess people don't care if they burn their bridges.

I have NO problem spotting friends or fam money, but my sister in law was calling everyother week for money....even if it was $20 it started pissing me off. I got paid back and such but still. the only reason she needed to keep borrowing was because she would be on a payback plan for everyone she knows...it got to the point i finally told her no im broke...knowing she didnt buy it but what the fuck am I supposed to do. its a never ending cycle, if she never borrowed she wouldnt owe others and then she could pay her own bills.

Thats what pushes me over the edge, a friend calls says I need $100, fine where do you want to meet, but when its 100, 2 weeks later paid back 2 weeks later another 100 2 weeks later paid back then another 60, 21 weeks later oh i have 20 i cant affor the full 60, 2 weeks later 20, 1 week late can i borrow another 20, then 2 weeks later paid back in full, then 2 weeks later.....thats a no go anymore fam or not

Money is money and it's about the principal (of paying back what you owe). You can get killed in prison for owing someone 2 dollars and not paying up.

If you ballin' like that then you can keep handing $20 and $40's out and not trip. Everybody ain't got it like that.
