with all the PacMan/Tank Johnson/Chis Henry type BS going on how can a "writer" seriously bash a well-liked player by all his peers and citzens of nashville...from all accounts a great father (his son in a STAND OUT player...)...charitable, all that shit...just because the dudes marriage went sour.....

assuming that Jason has atleast one close friend/family member going threw a divorce (because who doesnt?)....

id like to know if those people deserve two bullets in the brain too?...

Jason Whitlock = wannabe Howard Stern/Rush Limbaugh of the sports world

He says outragous shit just to try and get attention for his fat ass.

I wish people would ignore the fucker so his career would just end already, like it should have years ago.

The point of the article is fine. Everyone should be a good parents.

Just the timing wasn't appropriate. He took a stance on a really sensitive issue at the wrong time. He needs to pick and choose his battles a little more wisely.

If that is ALL he said, i would be OK with it. But he was throwing in all kinds of fallacy ridden crap along with it, not to mention all the generalizations he was slapping on people, too. You can be taken seriously as a writer, on a subject like this, if you just blab rhetoric...it doesn't work that way.

I read this article the day it came out on Fox Sports....

As a married man (remember Jason Whitlock is NOT one) it always cracks me up when single men have some sort of "moral" info to give a married man. It is so easy to kick back and listen to what the news or police are saying about the situation and write some bogus article about how he wasn't there for his kids. I am wondering, Did JAson ask his kids this question? Just because McNair was off getting some ass from this moderate looking bitch does not mean he wasn't there for his kids. It also doesn't mean he wasn't a good husband or father. Marriages fall apart everyday for one reason or another. I have been married 10 years almost and let me just say me and my wife have gone through the "almost divorced" stuff. Shit one day I might be coming back here saying I ain't married no more........

All I am saying is, take this article with a grain of salt. I am from KC and read Jason Whitlock's articles when he writes them. I am not a Whitlock hater, but he does say things that don't make sense sometimes. But then sometimes he makes a lot of sense.....

RIP

i dont see the problem with this article. humans are made to be opinionated. and he as a journalist did what he was supposed to do...... write his feelings about a situation.

p.s.
this thread is 3 pages. it will be 5-6 by lunch. j whitlock did his job.
