let him help out my younger linebackers...bradie james, bobby carpenter, akin ayodele, and demarcus ware over here in dallas. let wade phillips bring an experienced 3-4 linebacker to a younger defense that needs help.

and even though donnie edwards is getting a bit older, he has been left out the pro bowl way too many times...he is simply a playmaker.

...and Gold. I wouldn't mind him playing SS. After a review or preview of the secondary to come next year with his addition the niners would have the best 2ndary in the NFC west, and arguably in the NFL. FS Keith Lewis, needs to improve pass coverage, but a hard hitter like Ronnie Lott, and has the ability to get picks.
Shawntae Spencer/Walt Harris can pick the ball, Walt Harris does a great job in crucial parts of the game to shut primary receivers, but he didn't prove that against games where we need it the most. Most notably the games against the Rams in the 4th Quarter, Green Bay, and Arizona @ home. Then with the addition of either Nate Clements or Ansante Samuel, WOW! FS Keith Lewis, SS Donnie Edwards, CB 1 Samuel/Clements, CB 2 Harris/Spencer.

Oops, haha, mistake. I was just reading the 49ers Secondary on 49ers.com, and I had the thought of upgrading the secondary, and I went in here, and somehow it mixed with Donnie Edwards. HAHA, how many of you have had that, you read something, it stays on your mind, then you apply it to something not even related to it. :hurt:, I had a discussion with a fellow niner fan, about a new SS and he said Chad Williams was good enough, I guess I brought the convo here. hehe

The guy's the second best baseball hitter in the NFL, he dropped more bombs than anybody else besides Jason Witten in the GridIron Challenge.

If he ends up in KC the Royals should give him a tryout LOL

That happened against the Rams cuze Walt Harris was the decent CB we had playin at the time. Shawntae Spencer was injured, and I the other youngster we had Donald Strickland was out too, and he had been doin decent thangs for us. So we were stuck with Walt Harris, Sammy Davis and then some safteys tryin to play CB never really works. Walt Harris was definately one of the top CBs in the NFC this year and should have definately started in the Pro Bowl. There ain't no way Donnie Edwards is comin to SF either. They talked bout it last year when the Chargers were lookin to bounce him early in the year, but I think he wanted more money than the 9ers wanted to give.
