chris johnson signed early this morning......he was labeled as a "holdout" first day of TC (friday).....he was SPOUSE to get the deal done early friday morning but his agent was busy in another state getting a higher pick signed (i guess money talks)

Hell yeah playa! From season ending injuries, to surgeries, to hamstring problems..... We've been hit with the injury bug. AND its only training camp! Our defensive line has taken most of the injuries as well....

^ yeah. the sad part is that the defensive line, in my opinion, is the weak link of the defense. linebackers are good, defensive backs are good, but the redskins get no pressure from the defensive line.

^^^^ I agree but with the pick up of Jason it might help us a bit this upcomming season! Phillip Daniels was a starter with so and so pressure but was a motivional leader on and off the field. Buzabee and Anthony Montgomery were pretty much non factors last season. With the D-Line we've had in recent years, this years might be an upgrade. 2 me our weak link this year will be our safety position without the presences of Sean Taylor.... I believe Stuart Schweigert from the Raiders isn't the answer! I hope I'm wrong though.

i thought the redskins' secondary was a better unit than their defensive line because their corners are good. not elite, but i'd say the redskins are among the top 10 in the league regarding cornerback depth.

and i agree, stuart sheweigert isn't the answer. if anything, while laron landry moves to free safety, i'd say that reed doughty is the best option at strong safety. although doughty didn't and probably will never play as good as sean taylor, he did an adequate job of playing opposite landry.

Yeah the corners are good with Carlos, Smoot and Springs when they're all healthy and playing! But all three are injury prone with Rogers coming back from injury, who knows how he'll play..... The only knock I have with Rogers is that he can't intercept the damn ball for shit. There was about 3 or 4 passes before he got injured that he could have grabbed an easy pick for an takeaway and point blanked dropped them. Our free safety position will be in good hands with LaRon Landry but just don't have enough faith with Schweigert.... You're correct, Reed showed some promising signs last season after Sean Taylor's death but there were a few times where he blew coverages and had some crucial missed tackles, but than again he's young. Maybe my problem is that I'm trying to compare him to Sean. I agree though Ill, I'd rather have LaRon and Reed in the safety positions!
