does anyone know how to get puke smell out of carpet?

I had a party at my house over the weekend and some fool mixed too much alcohol with too much herb and for some reason decided that my carpet was a better toilet than a toilet or even than the kitchen. I cleaned the shit out of it like 3 times but there is still a light stench of yak. I also drenched the fuck out of it with febreeze.

well my dad gets home on friday and i dont want any evidence of a party so any help would be great.

BTW, my boy returned the favor to the guilty culprit that night by covering the backseat of his car with very large chunks. oh how sweet revenge truly is!!! and he loves his car so much too. haha

Try baking soda? Worst case scenario, you gotta scrub that with baking soda and water, and then let it soak(20 mins). Baking soda soaks up odors. Then try the Febreeze again after that.

Ha Ha Ha...Rule 1 Never ever ever ever sponser a house party. Rule 2 living with parents and having parties or hella friends another NO NO. Rule 3 about your carpet your fucked. You can soak, scrub, pray, wait doesn't matter the odor ain't going away for a hot minute. Plus you/others gonna walk over that spot and all that shit does is bring the odor back up. Either buy another carpet or fuck it just pray Pops won't notice. 9/10 he'll notice. GOOD LUCK!!!

yeah.........i cleaned up someones puke once, but the host had a cleaner, like a special carpet cleaner...it was a white carpet, and i just scrubbed straight for liek 20 minutes...i mean, the reason it came out was cuz i did it hella quick, so i dunno, good luck...

good shit yall, it wasnt really a party, only close friends, it was just one dude i didnt really know that well, everyone else was good ass friends.

that shit seems clean, I just cant tell if the smell is mostly soap and febreeze or if yak smell is mixed in. but i've come up with good excuses in the past, i'll think of something good again. i'll just clean the house spotless and hope he is so happy the house is clean that he don't question anything else
