i had nortan's fire wall but when i used it it wont let me go on the net..i put all my net connectins an everything i needed into the Trusted Zone..


my cousin says a firewall will just fuck up your comp...and u say if i dont have one, my comp will fuck up

as long as yer running THROUGH your wireless router....even if its hard wired, there's a built in firewall....so yer good

I'd recommend you still get norton anti virus. I run through a router and norton still blocks a lot of shit. get spybot search and destroy too

i was usin the norton firewall but it sucked! maybe i set it up wrong? i dont know

i already had everything for spyware..i did a sytem restore to my comp so everything got delteted




idont remember the old fireall i was usin..i dl'd it from some site

Norton Firewall is teh sux!!!

I ain't sayin dont run an anti-virus....Just talk to the majority of people runnin software firewalls and u'll find A) they're not as reliable OR user friendly and/or B) You'll have problems doing things u WANT to do on the net....just my 2 cents

Well there's the obvious...one is hardware, one is software...they're different. Why not have the benefits of both? Hardware firewalls are the better of the two, but software firewalls provide traffic monitoring and total control of port access.
