i don't know maybe im still half asleep. but sometimes i think about how everywhere you turn it's companies or people trying to get money out of you or sell you something. do yall ever get tired of it? Like you go to a show or whatever and they try to sell you $10 beers. Then you go outside bums asking for money. Mofos trying to sell you cds trees jewelery whatever.
It's like a part of life is a game of having money in this country. i just see through shit and it gets old . Like everyone is so into the game they don't see the game. i need to smoke im thinking too much but im not gonna smoke til later.

this money revolves around greenbacks. and people will do whatever they can to get them, for the most part, not all people though.

we're bombarded with like 2000 ads per day.

You drive, see billboards, signs, posters, fliers, people....Everyone wants you to buy their shit.

Fuck em. My money is mine. And they aren't getting it unless I already wanted what they're selling. They aren't going to persuade me to buy shit.

Someone like me who lives 50 bucks at a time has take whatever McJob comes my way, especially in Michigan with a 15% unemployment rate. actually no i had unemployement checks coming in twice a month, ever heard of it? i had a lease i could not break so i had $1100 a month for RENT to pay. and i live in california where the unemployment rate is 11.6%.

im simple terms i got unemployement checks becuase i got laid off. and trust me lots of potential employers skipped me as well. its not like i hadnt been searching for these months. i just didnt apply to the local retail spot JUST to have a job. does that make sense?

but if you spend 10 hours a day going around to places, looking for jobs, applying, sending resumes, GOING to the places to apply, talkign to people, making a face to face connection...

you're more likely to get a job doing that. and then you'd be stupid for taking a 10 hour shift at $10/hr.

BUT i know how things go and you can't always hold out for that.

i actually wasn't referring to you at all and thanks for giving me my prop back. i was quite saddened. lol!


but yeah, i'll tell my job hunting story.

i applied at over 175 places, over 3 months. I got 3 calls back. One was due to someone I knew. One place fucked me around sayin they were going to hire me but flaked the fuck out. And the other place told me after a fwe weeks they hired someone else.

The ONLY reason I have the job I do is cause of who i know. So I'm super lucky and I know it.

But applying was my full time job. I looked up shit for 5-10 hours every day when I woke up.

So, the moral is, going to college adn getting a degree with two minors and doing an internship and hella shit outside of shcool in my field DID NOTHING to help me get a job. I'm in sales for HVAC shit (heating venitlation and A/C).....

I'm just happy to have a job, period.
