Thats how its is. EVERYONE is tryin to get paper. Churches have you buy your way to heaven to get the pastor a new beamer, They sell 9/11 coins supposedly made with silver that was in the world trade center and a "portion" of proceeds go to help starving african children. Thats just the world and human nature.

No offense, but have you smoked yourself stupid?

Money is the reason corporations and companies exists. We are taught that we NEED money to survive, and society has made it such. Sure, you COULD just be a mountain man and live off the land. However, in some way or another, you would eventually need to make and spend money in order to continue your existence...unless you are somehow 100% self-sustainable over the course of your entire life.

no i haven't smoked myself stupid i don't think lol. just said fuck it and decided to make a thread that goes a lil deeper than the surface. i'm not a hippy nor do i want to be. i earn my money and always have since a kid. im just commenting on people getting too sucked into the game of making money off people. You have to play the game to survive off top. But you don't have to lose yourself in the process. This isn't your average thread if you can relate go ahead and post something. if you want to insult my thought process be my guest. I Pukokeki this thread may not be up your alley. You take shit way too literal and try to start an argument for no reason half the time. This thread might not work out for you.

Hey man, i appreciate your not getting fired up and angry over our analysis of your question. I just think what is a conundrum to you is common knowledge to the rest of us.

I feel what you're saying. It's like everybody is living to make money, rather than making money to live.

it's all good. i know you guys and girls like to come up with a conclusion that is the consensus opinion of the same people that are on here everyday. There's no right or wrong answer to this thread. My initial post is not crazy or ridiculous. What im sharing is an observation. Can you relate? Kayvee i see you've posted in this thread a few times. I notice you've posted that you're spoiled by your parents often. How could you truly relate to my observation when your experience in life appears to be one of excess capital and opportunity?

Because you had the luxury to not have to settle for less. Mom would feed and clothe you in the meantime. Someone like me who lives 50 bucks at a time has take whatever McJob comes my way, especially in Michigan with a 15% unemployment rate. So please don't try to twist it into you have such wisdom and patience, just some of us don't eat if we dont jump on the first job we can get.

well whatever the case may be I ask you to look a lil deeper into everyday activities such as going to a store or walking down the street in a downtown area. Not every idea that goes through a person's head needs to be a popular one or one that sounds sensical when it's first described. The idea behind this post may be unusual however this thread intrigued you all enough to respond.

(For some reason i feel like i could write some good fortune cookies today)

I can't quite figure you out Artistic. You seem downright brilliant in your observations sometimes but you seem to also read into them much to deeply. If what your getting at is its twisted money makes the world go round, i can feel that but if you really think you noticed some deep shit no one else picked up on, then my friend, you just blowed.

well i don't know if i was meant to be figured out lol. i am a serious person who doesn't take himself seriously at all. i'm not trying to imply i'm the first person to think of this idea or that this idea is in fact extremely profound. I merely wanted to gain the perspective of my fellow siccness members on this idea.

I feel yea and ill respect that. All's i take out of it personally is money DOES by happiness. I know id be happy to have a nice whip, happy to have food on the table, happy to pay off court bills. Money lets girls who usually wouldn't look your way at least give you a chance and maybe you do fall in love. In this money first society the poor are left miserable.
