whoo kid should have a talk wit Metal Mouth, because MM is leaving Whoo Kid in the dust with his "exclusives".

Once again we gotta re itterate how "small minded" we tend to think on this board.

A majority of these albums out here don't ship more than 7,000 units in and outside the bay area. So technically since Whookid sells 14,000 units per tape, the tape gets out to markets that not only have never heard of our acts but even the songs placed on these tapes.

True fact, only about 7 artists from the bay area get airplay outside of the region. Now how far the region goes is only on the westcoast, maybe some parts of the midwest, but I'll tell you it is very small.

The tape is meant to be bootlegged, weather it sells or not, who cares, we did this tape to get the Bay out there in markets where the bay is not recognized as much as here. Do your homework, the tape isn't out in the Bay area until 2 weeks from now. The bay will always sell to the bay, but does the bay sell outside the bay... In certain places yet, but we still have a lot of work to do.

Sales on the last Bay Bidness was at 10,586. No disrespect to MM, they are my dudes, but they are not Whookid who holds the top spot in the mixtape game. Exclusives are only worth something outside the bay area if these cats know who they are... Someone in NYC called me to ask me the history on 8 artists on this very tape, and he worked at MTV... Real spit... All people know out there is E 40 or TOO SHORT and even SOULS OF MISCHEIF when you go into these other states... Sad but VERY TRUE.

Another Sad discovery I've made on my travels is that a DJ in NYC who I will not name, NEVER KNEW MAC DRE PASSED! People just don't know... Shit disturbed me like a mutha fucka.

Belive it or not, a lot of the press you've seen derived from Whookid and I doing these tapes and spreading them through NYC. Nump can even testify that people call him for the mere fact that he opened. These tapes just serve as a tool for the bay to get a look. You can't tell me Whookid doesn't get looked at. It is so people who follow what he does says "well, he's on board so it must mean something." There are so many people in this game that are still not sold on the bay area, belive that.

Our goal is to once again, PAINT A BIGGER PICTURE FOR THOSE WHO STILL DON'T BELIVE IN THE BAY. AND TRUST ME, THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO DON'T STILL!

What is old to us, like this whole movement is still brand spaking new to someone in nyc, miami, virgina, etc. Thats where most of these tapes are shipped off to. Who's going to say no to building a new audience? We need these artists to become bigger. None of us out here is eating like Kanye, J.D... or 50... you get the picture. I hope.

Do you know many times our radio stations and djs play records out here that are new to us but are old as hell to ATL, NY, CHICAGO, TX? Man... Think about it...
