It's interesting to me how people are so divided on this album... I think my tastes might be off-center at this point in my life.

Not challenging the opinions of people who feel otherwise, cuz the album is definitely out there, but I am liking it more and more on each listen. I dig how experimental it is and the lyrics reflect all the bullshit those two went through and still just tryin to live right and party.

To me its recession music, for people who are talented, fall off somewhat, and are tryin to get their shit right. I can see how not everyone would be really feelin it I guess!

To me its in the same vein content-wise as Playboy Tre out of Atlanta for the same reason. Unabashedly music from people who are in their 30s to early-40s and still in the struggle to a certain extent and wonder why. Fuck it, probably most people will think it sucks if you aren't somewhat identifying with em at some level. And even if you do, it might not be your cup of liquor.

some tough critics in here........definitly some jammable cuts. if anyone thinks an album is gonna live up to any hype you are crazy. I pretty much only expect shitty albums, even when it comes to legends. the album is coo, something different. i give it a 7.5/10. with quik and kurupt, it should be a 10/10 - but it aint 1998 no more.

do you know is a slapper.

Its not about hype, but there are expectations when u've heard certain music from someone for so long. Like i said, if its not the production thats poor, its the rapping. And then overall, the album is just fucking weird.

^^what?

Anyway, Like Dub said, the album is weird, but I gave this it's first listen in my whip and I'm definitely feelin this shit. I dunno if it was just cuz it was my first full listen and maybe it will be crap the next time or cuz it was such a nice sunny day, definitely gonna give it a couple more spins this weekend....
