all the 90 producers where real muscians that played they music out on instruments. while nowdays anybody can make a beat with a cracked version of fruity loops, pro tools, studio one, logic software
yeah man thats great they where multi talented but where r they now? as far as the eastcoast 90s producer i hear that most of them fell off cuz they be gettin sued for all the samples they use. westcoast i dont know. Battlecat is still around i guess. and we all know whats up with Dr Dre.

As was said above, this is one of the better ones.

But a lot of his beats illustrate what I said above very well precisely because they try to capture the 90s feeling (which is not a bad thing and sometimes they work quite well because of that) and you can immediately tell the difference when they fail to do so, which is quite often.

7 Beats a day? That can very much be done in a matter of 11-12 hours with some GREAT quality tracks if you're actually THAT GOOD. Most I've done in a day is 5, all original, completely different sounding, mixed down, etc. Takes some real endurance! Doing more than 8 hours of music work in a day will take a serious toll on your ears.

If he's doing 7 beats a day and 5 out of 7 are simpleton sample kick snare bass hat, he's not doing much work and it shouldn't surprise you that he's doing 7 beats a day. Those don't even take long to mix down and do effects and breakdowns. If I primarily made beats with samples, that would be standard to knock out in a day if I was focused on just making beats. I personally take much longer and do a lot more to each track. As a working producer, if he doesn't have people in the studio on any given day he SHOULD be doing at least 5-6 a day to ensure that he continuously gets his paper.
