Just Heard Some Of The Latest Shit With Yukmouth On His Online Radio Show And On Messy Marv Radio And Im Convinced. Every 5 to 10 Years someone comes along and takes the Crown In The 90s it Was Mike Mosley And Khyree And DJ Darryl Bosko ETC. In The 2000 Era Its DJ Fresh & The Whole Shabang All The OGs Is Fuckin His Beats And His Movement For A Reason.Out Of All The Other Producers In The Bay He Puts Out The Most Consitant And High Quality Product. Not taking anything away from dude. Dude is a beast with sampling of 80's songs and I like some of the songs I've heard. But can we hear more original music? I know hip-hop has always used samples since the early 80's and it seems like more and more producers are sampling songs. Where's the creativity? I know I may replay a song and put my own twist on it but I very seldom sample. If a producer is always using samples and is doing work for a major label the sample has to get cleared first. And once it is cleared you'll be paying to use that sample and that will be less money coming into your pocket for using that song.

dj fresh is the best to me to sampling or not i buy every tonite show that comes out and they all slap old beats are bettr to me anyways and kanye made millions doing the same shit

Try Again Tomorrow,Can't Stay,New BMW,You Already Know Doe,Sip Sumthin,100%,Put A Rush On me,Lyrical Excersize,That DJ Fresh outro on the tonight show was dope,Coppers,..really theres 100 dope songs..fuck and everytime I hear a preview of sum shit 2 come i'm blown away..

most popular...yes....dj fresh is good but best?....i heard some beats from some bay area producers that post here thats better....but its all opinion.

yeah, co sign with most of people out here; Fresh is talented beat maker, he's a pro and know his craft, but for me his music becomes imitative; I dont have too many of his Tonite Show's cds, but the one I own (with Smigg Dirtee and D-Lo) I'm not really feelin them.
