Album is dope..

Fuck what anyone says...

Even the softer jams like "Count Your Blessings" grow on you after a while.. That jam with Joss Stone and Wayne is kinda ehhh... Could've been done better.

Originally the tracklist featured Stevie Wonder and Bob Marley (of course pre-recorded vocals before MOST of us were born...) I wonder wtf happened to that???

And I'm hitting their tour stop here in New Mex on the 2nd... Gonna be dope

Yeah a few of my friends tried to get tickets to either show and they're both sold out. I think some of them told me they found a few on craigslist..but I don't know what the mark-up would be.

I'm amped for tomorrow's show, especially after seeing Kweli/Hi-Tek, Strong Arm Steady, Jacka/Huslah/Lee Majors, Souls of Mischief and Mistah F.A.B. all at The Fillmore last night for Revolutions Per Minute Tour.

The show was insane. They started off with the first 2 tracks from the album, then went back and forth on solo shit a few songs each. They came back in the middle to perform a few more songs from the album, then went solo back and forth, then finished it with the rest of the album songs. For the encore, Jr. Gong performed a few Bob Marley songs..which was amazing. They performed for 2 straight hours with a live band, and the venue being filled with massive never ending smoke clouds made for a great night.

I like how Nas adapted more toward Marley's Reggae style opposed to Marley singing over hip hop beats. This is basically a Dancehall/Reggae album with Nas...

Yeah that Joss Stone/Lil Wayne feature got me turned off too; it shouldve been removed off that album & wack features almost always kill & ruin all the goin-to-be classics & already classics & any album featuring artists/rappers that I dont like i.e. Eminem, Lil Wayne, Kanye, BEP etc. I always pass......
