I postedd the same thread on dubcnn.. jus wanna get some real opinions...
What is your perception of dissing a nigga ?

I listen to all these diss songs and slander from artist who be throwin punches over the mic..All I wanna know is...

When you dis a individual what do you expect back from them ? A response diss rap ? A fair fade or what...Im jus confused at alot of WESTCOAST artist who are out here dissin muh fuckas and aint pushin da line on yall dissing..When niggas wanna catch fades or whatever comes wit da shit.. Niggas be clamming up wit sweaty palms a shakin like Don Knotts..

All Im sayin is stop disrespecting yo self if you aint gon PUSH DA LINE simple as that...

Now to all yall thats gonna say.. all I say is violence or bullshit..Need to stop before you go on that unity shit.. cause it aint none.. and never been.. only at fake ass video shoots....

Why do yall accept DISSING if you dont tolerate the violence aspect part of it... Its always been handled that way...

I think you gotta seperate disses into "Hiphop-Battle-Sports-Competition Disses", "Rap-Fake-Diss-Hype-Up-Album-Release Disses", and "Gangsta-Rap-See-You-In-Person-Split-Yo-Wig Disses"...

In the end it's all entertainment and disses use to bring the best outta fools...

I think some diss tracks make for good listening, like if the two cats is just goin at it lyrically just battling, like hiphop always been about as far as breaking and rapping and just the competetive aspect of who's better. It brings out some koo ass lines and shiet.

Now as far as foos rappin about so and so's a bitch whooptie whoop fuck yo mama this and that, well, shiet. That shit gotta be handled, and them songs is usually just a bunch of shit talkin and aint got nothing to do with the whole battle aspect of rap.

Dissing an artist just to get recognition (like you do with MC Eiht), is just lame.
Now...if you're dissing because you want an actual battle, then there's nothing wrong with that. It's also lame to want to get violent over a diss on wax. Thats what put an end to rappers wanting to battle on wax.

nigga aint nobody dissin eiht for recognition.. real niggas is takin COMPTON back and eiht aint one of em.. plus our beef wit da bitch nigga is legit.. he was signed to us and did some bitch shit..

but what seperates rap from real life... i agree the battle rap and dissing is always good wit me.. but when it aint a battling atmosphere.. then what..

bishop shoulda kept his ass quiet and worried about tryna make people feel him before he thought he could diss niggas, he aint canibus, i dont know what e pills dude popped and i dont even like game im just sayin cruiserweights dont get to fight light heavyweights in boxing you have to get your weight up and fight a nigga in his weight division if u got issues

i feel him on goin at the crazy nigga tho

like dissing lil wayne could be a good idea if you do it right

and on the subject of funk if nothin happens what does it matter. if you care that much its your job to do somethin about it not the other persons job to agree with your doings

but in all reality im gonna write bishop off as a 'throw a diss out to get hot' nigga and not really check his shit much from now on

What makes you say Game has niggas ready to die for him? Because he signing their checks? Black Wall Street aint no gang it's a record lable. Are niggas signed to this lable really ready to die for a nigga that probably aint ready to die for them? I think not. There needs to be a seperation between rap and real life. BWS aint a gang it's a record lable. When niggas start treating lables like gangs that's when they get hurt. (Eg. Death Row Records).

have you been to brazil street ?

dunno man......no diss but im going to believe the crip from compton before i believe the basketball dude from oakland on a los angeles issue of who on the street rides for game
That's why I'm asking. Bruh said that BWS niggas was ready to die for him, not Bloods from Cedar Block or Brazil street. I'm asking what makes him think people signed to his lable are ready to die for him. No diss but you should read first ma nigg.

who said they would be on a label.. dont you think game has supporters who dont rap.. but not jus on bishop n game..

my subject was for all rappers who diss but dont expect violence...

it dont take much to pay a lil homie 5 racks to do bullshit..

i hate to use them as in example more than myself with the issue.. its jus this discussion would not get discussed right..

i think dissin should be left to those who ready to rumble.. but im sure bishop got supporters to.he seems like the subtle type..it sems out of his character to go hard like this

Man dissing been in hiphop since the beginning. Competiveness brings the best out of people. When niggas start talking about killing or whooping cats asses then it's a problem. Bishop didn't say that did he? If he keeping it str8 hiphop then I dont see no problem with it.

yeah but back in the days of 1980's battle rap niggas was gettin fucked up over it too

countless people from both sides of queens and bronx were fucked up over krs-ones 'south bronx'

if you ever wanna piss someone off from queens, say bronx keeps on takin it queens keeps on fakin it

i think even dj red alerts goofy looking ass was beat up over just being the dj on the song and all he did was go 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' on the track
