Hold up playa, ain't nothin ignorant about it. It's well known that typin in all caps on the net is considered shouting. That's been the rule ever since the internet came out, where have you been homie?
And naw it don't bother me at all. I think it would be an improvement yea, but it don't matter to me either way, cause I could careless how a nigga types as long as He dOeSn'T tYpE lIkE tHiS... So you could stick to your current style or you could switch up, it wouldn't matter to me regardless. But since you asked what I think, I gave you my opinion.

I learned it in a computer class I took back in the day, the first computer class I ever took actually. I don't know who made it up but it's a common fact that typin in all caps on the net is considered shouting. It ain't about dictating the world pimpin, it's a simple internet etiquette.

^I WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT AS FACT. YOU CAN FLOW WITH CONVENTIONAL THINKIN' BUT THERE AIN'T NO WRITTEN RULE. HOW THE FUK IS IT DISRESPECTFUL AND WHY WOULD YOU THINK I'M SHOUTIN'? THEY COULDN'T COMPREHEND AND FELT THAT I HAD TO FOLLOW THEY TRENDS. WHY? WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Well I personally don't consider it disrespectful, so you'd have to ask the folks who are offended by it. They might give you a better insight on why they don't like it.
But I think the reason some folks consider it shouting is cause when someone types a long message on a website, message board, or email and they wanna highlight certain points in they message, they usually put those important points in either capital letters, bold letters, or underline it.
I know sometimes when I write long messages on the siccness, I occasionally type words or sentences that I really wanna stress, in capital letters or bold letters. And this could be the reason it's considered shouting, cause some people might interpret it as you REALLY stressing and shouting everything you want to say.
Other folks on the other hand, may think a person who types in all caps is just immature and childish, kinda the same way a person WhO tYpEs LiKe ThIs wOuLd Be ViEwEd. Not saying I think like that or anything, but there are some folks out there who actually think this way, like those people on those technical sites you go to.
Let me show you an example and I'll retype what I wrote above and switch it up a little...

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's the same concept as "white is right" cause it's also a habit for many people, not just a concept or an ideology. Me personally I don't type in lower case letters to be like everyone else, I do it cause it's a habit for me ever since I first started using a computer.
But yes, the majority of folks who use the internet type in lower case. But many of those people could be doing it out of habit, not because it's the norm or it's what everyone else is doing.

Yea I've seen a few folks on the siccness get called out for it. But again homie, you're askin these questions to the wrong person. It's better you ask this kinda stuff to the people who are bothered by it.
To me it's not a big deal, so I can't really answer for others, but the next time someone calls you out on it, you should holla at them and ask them why it bothers them, cause I can't really answer for other people.

HERE IS A NET NERD CRYIN ABOUT CAPz. SOME TIME BACK ALOT OF PEOPLE WOULD POST IN CAPz ON HERE, IT JUST BECAME A HABIT, I NEVER KNEW THAT IT WAS CONSIDERED SHOUTIN. I DONT CARE, I WILL 4EVER POST IN CAPz.
