Lil B: You Said That Afeni Bought 2pac's verses and is planing on putting them on 2pac new album, are your verses gonna be on the new 2pac album also?
Daz: Naw, Afeni didn’t buy my verses. My shit is too gangsta for her ass. Only way one of my verses is gonna be on the Pac album is if Suge take one of my old verses outta tha vault and add his wack ass production to it.
Lil B: Whats your feelings on Afeni?
Daz: No disrespect to 2Pac in what I say but, Afeni is a trick. She a greedy bitch that fucking up her son’s name by dropping cheap remixes. I don’t see any mothafucka trying to remix Dogg Food, Doggystyle, or Chronic. Only peeps that would dare to do that are the peeps that fucked wit them albums. Afeni getting some 2 dollar producers to work on million dollar tracks.
Lil B: Just Heard This Life I Lead CD, One of The most gangsta album this year, how long did it take you to complete the LP. And why was it held back?
Daz: Did the album with Mike Dean in 8 weeks, probably less. Shit was delayed because I was trying to figure out which route I wanted to take with it. Either the party record or the deep shit where I tell the peeps what Daz is all about. I went with the second. Tried a little something different with the beats too. Go a Down South and Westcoast feel. Mike and I put together some gangsta shit twisted with a 2002 vibe.
Lil B: Since your independent u have to work over-time, If aftermath records asked you if you wanted to be on there label would you sign?
Daz: I’d have to see what they have to offer first. I ain’t gonna say yes right away like a puppet. I ain’t Xzibit. One thing for sure, I want my shit to drop on time. I don’t need my shit coming out 3 years after its done. I got 4 albums done. Finished 1 whole album in 1 week. There ain’t no reason to hold my shit, I got enough product to last a lifetime.
Lil B: How much do u get paid each record?
Daz: I get 10 dollars a record. Only in the Indy Game you get paid the executive way.
Lil B: On DPGRecordz.com they said that your album presold 100,000 what are ur feeling on that, what do u want to say to the dpg fans?
Daz: Albums doing well. I ain’t gonna lie, it ain’t like we hoped. A lot of drama around this album. We appreciate all the fan support and we know everyone is bearing with us, even the shittalkers at the DPG web site. I’m watching you fools, its all love.
Lil B: How many tracks ae on tha row killa LP? also how many songs on on the crooked I LP?
Daz: Like 15 on each. Don’t know off the top of my head. Both gotta be mixed still.
Lil B: Thanks for the interview any last word you want to say to the fans?
Daz: Yeah, want to let the fans know shit might feel different but its still the same, you just gotta change with us. Fuck the haters. Fuck Suge Knight. Fuck Ja Rule. And Fuck that Bitch-Nigga Irv Gotti. The Black Phantom in stores next year. We gonna hit the people outta nowhere. DPG is Droppin bombs like Sadaam.
