a lot of these comments remind me of what people were saying when thizzle washington and al boo boo came out... im feeling the cd except for that murda she wrote song
Yup. I feel that. I remember being slightly disappointed when AL BOO BOO came out in '03 because some of those songs seemed too short to me, but it grew on me the more I played it. As for THIZZLE WASHINGTON, the only thing that bothered me back in '02 was the engineering on several tracks (the bass sounded like it was higher up in the mix then it should have been), but now I can basically listen to it from start-to-finish too.

As for DA U.S. OPEN, I'm diggin' it except for one or two tracks (I agree w/ the poster who gave it an 8/10). As to whether or not it's "CD of the year", right now, I'd say no, but I'll have to wait and see how other Bay releases that come out from April to December 2005 stack up before I make any judgment about that. YEEEEEEEE!

PEACE!

Yeah man... I didnt even like Al Boo Boo much when it came out. I felt like complaining for the first week (altho i didnt)

Now... striaght classic.. when I put that CD in, its a hour of party music to my head.. i love that shit... same with Dreganomics/Genie, I think theyre one of his best. (but not as good as SDDD or YBB obviously)
