Heres a cover for a local artist...

this was my first time taking a photo that was not digital...so those of you who are photographers out their please give comments on that as well...

oh yea and before someone says that i bit the m-dash cover think again...he chose the pose and the place we took the pic at...i was just doing my job...

hmmm it wont let me post anything bigger than this...

it's true, you have to do what the client wants. me and shemp vowed not to use barbedwire or fences anymore, but if someone is willing to pay me to use it,i'm gonna flip it...i would advise them not to......but if they still want it, it comes down to money.....i['m take it......lol

BUT

i would flip the shit way different than other covers i have done wit fences or barbedwire........

i think this is a different situation..........yeah the client wanted the photo like that BUT the color sceme, texture, and even the placing of the words are similar to that M-Dash cover and the client had nuttin to do wit the design............that's your job....

if he said he wanted it to look like that M-Dash cover, then you get an idea of what he wants..........but if he said he wanted it to look just like it, then that's your job to design something how the customer wants and make it not look like someone else's shit........

cuz that shit looks very similar to sik's design........

D-boy and I are releasing out albums the same day so here real soon...just waiting on tyrant to give us the final mix

and the D has already been changed along with a few other adjustments...ill post up the updated version here soon..

i didnt say you was bitin anybody, i was saying that the artist is bitin the photo idea, and the whole broke down garbage shit. but nerd is right too, you can always make it look original, even if the client wants similar to someone elses.

ok, what do you artists think i should do to make it different?

he wanted his pants and his shirt to be in full color...which i changed but noticed that upheaval and sik have done that on their last covers as well...its what the artist wants but its biting to you guys...

so help me out and drop off some opinions id appreciate it, im not trying to be a dick towards anyone its just im gettin tired of this whole you bit him ladi da di da...and its not just with me but with other folks...it seems to be the only kind of critism thats been going on...
