Don't be mad, at least I'm realistic bout my team. You guys suck , won't win your divison, will get owned by the Raiders and Chargers, and play in the AFC. Just hope the Hank Straum comes bacc from the dead to lead you another Championship. If you even know who that is without googleing him. Either way, stay gay helmet rider.

Haha Wow they should make a movie about this story...

The Denver Broncos say Jay Cutler wants to get traded.

The star quarterback disagrees.

Where could Cutler go Pro Bowl quarterback Jay Cutler is available and Alex Marvez lists some possible trade destinations.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Video: Jay Glazer issues a warning to those teams inquiring about Cutler.
Cutler spoke exclusively Wednesday night with FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer at the UFC Fight Night 18 card in Nashville that both were attending. Cutler says he was shocked the Broncos issued a statement proclaiming he was on the block after conversations with agent Bus Cook.

"I was surprised they decided to trade me this soon," Cutler told Glazer in his first comments since the statement was released. "I didn't want to get traded. This wasn't me. They [The Broncos] had been going back and forth saying things, wanting me to be their quarterback and then they didn't."

"I really didn't want this. I love Denver. I really like my teammates. I didn't want it to get this far."

In a team-issued statement Tuesday, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen said his attempts and those by first-year head coach Josh McDaniels to reach Cutler for the past 10 days were "unsuccessful." But in what has turned into an obvious he-said, she-said situation, Cutler claims he is the one who had not heard from the Broncos during that time. Cutler said the first time he heard from the Broncos in 10 days was Tuesday when they informed him of their decision to trade him.

"A conversation with his agent earlier (Tuesday) clearly communicated and confirmed to us that Jay no longer has any desire to play for the Broncos," Bowlen said. "We will begin discussions with other teams in an effort to accommodate his request to be traded."

So where does Cutler land? Cutler didn't proclaim a favorite but also believes Denver will end up trading him to an NFC team. It's believed Denver is considering all offers to move Cutler before the April 25 start to the NFL draft.

Cutler is being linked to a slew of suitors, even those with seemingly stable quarterback situations. The Broncos, though, aren't giving Cutler away. A source told FOXSports.com that the asking price is greater than a first- and third-round draft choice.

Any team that trades for Cutler also may have to deal with demands from Cook for a new contract. Cutler has three years remaining on a six-year rookie deal that could yield as much as $48 million.

A 2006 first-round draft choice, Cutler is coming off his first Pro Bowl appearance in 2008. Cutler had a 62.3 completion percentage, tossing 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in a 4,526-yard passing campaign. But the Broncos failed to reach the playoffs for a third consecutive season, leading to the offseason firing of 14-year head coach Mike Shanahan.

The Cutler-McDaniels pairing began to sour when the latter pursued a trade with New England for Cassel. The deal would have sent Cutler to Tampa Bay as part of a three-way trade. Cassel — a McDaniels protege the past four seasons in New England — and Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel were instead shipped to Kansas City for a 2009 second-round pick.

McDaniels then wasn't able to rebuild a relationship with a quarterback who felt spurned. Cutler was so angry that he never reported for the team's offseason program — a decision that reportedly costing him a $100,000 workout incentive.

Chris Simms, a former Tampa Bay starter signed earlier this offseason, and the untested Darrell Hackney are the only other quarterbacks on Denver's roster. Both are participating in the team's offseason workout program.

Who's lying here, The crybaby or the Broncos?

Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen released a statement Tuesday saying both he and coach Josh McDaniels had been unable to get quarterback Jay Cutler to call them back over the past 10 days.

Cutler
As a result, the team has decided to trade Cutler, who they are convinced "no longer has any desire to play for the Denver Broncos."

Cutler and his agent have a different spin on the story, NFL senior analyst Chris Mortensen reports. Asked by text message whether Bowlen has directly tried to contact him, Cutler replied, "No."

His agent, Bus Cook, said the Broncos first got in touch with him on Tuesday.

"The perception that they've been burning the phone lines the last 10 days is wrong," Cook said. "In fact, the other day I asked Jay if he had heard from them and he said, 'no.' I didn't hear from them until yesterday [Tuesday] morning when [GM] Brian Xanders called me and said that Mr. Bowlen needs to speak with Jay now. I told him all I can do is leave Jay a message.

Where Will He Land

"I didn't reach Jay directly -- I don't know what he was doing -- but I left a message. Then Brian called at the end of the day and asked me if I had heard from him. I hadn't. I heard from Jay when he called to tell me he just saw on TV he was being traded. They can spin it the way they want to spin it."

A Broncos official scoffed at the notion that Bowlen didn't reach out directly to Cutler, suggesting that any owner would set up a call through a GM or a personal assistant.

Cutler told FoxSports.com on Wednesday night he did not think it would go this far.

"I was surprised they decided to trade me this soon," Cutler told FoxSports.com. "I didn't want to get traded. This wasn't me. They [The Broncos] had been going back and forth saying things, wanting me to be their quarterback and then they didn't.

"I really didn't want this. I love Denver. I really like my teammates. I didn't want it to get this far."

In the meantime, the Broncos have informed all interested teams that they want at least two first-round picks for Cutler and getting a quarterback in exchange is not a necessity, Mortensen reports. A team source said it was possible Cutler could be traded as soon as Friday.

Tirico & Van Pelt

Chris Mortensen says 12 teams have contacted the Broncos over the last week about Jay Cutler and six of them are serious.

Mortensen is reporting the following teams' interest in Cutler:

• The Redskins are acting with urgency in their pursuit of Cutler but it doesn't appear the Broncos have interest in Jason Campbell. Consequently, even while the Redskins may be willing to offer two first-rounders for Cutler, they are trying to gauge interest elsewhere for Campbell. If the Broncos do deal with the Redskins, it would give them control of the 12th and 13th picks in the draft.

• The Lions are interested in Cutler and would be willing to send the Broncos the first pick in the draft. But the Broncos don't want it. Rather, the Broncos would ask for the Lions' second first-round pick (No. 20) and possibly their second-rounder (No. 33), or another first-round pick in 2010. The Lions don't believe they can financially bear the burden of paying for the first pick in this year's draft, as well as sign Cutler to a contract extension.

• The Jets and Buccaneers also are involved in talks with the Broncos.

• The Panthers have some level of interest and are not opposed to including defensive end Julius Peppers in trade discussions. However, even though the Broncos have a need for a player of Peppers' caliber, they are reluctant because signing Peppers to a new contract, a necessity to complete a trade with Carolina, is cost-prohibitive for the team.

Cutler has been unhappy ever since learning that McDaniels failed to inform him about trade talks in which the Broncos showed interest in Matt Cassel. Cassel wound up being traded by New England to Kansas City, and Cutler asked to be traded.

Still, McDaniels had faith he could repair the strained relationship with his temperamental quarterback -- if only he could get him to call him back. On Tuesday, he became convinced that just wasn't going to happen.

Cutler is halfway through the six-year, $48 million contract he signed as the 11th overall pick out of Vanderbilt in the 2006 draft. He's 17-20 as Broncos starter, although that's misleading because of Denver's dismal defense.

In games where the Broncos have allowed 21 points or fewer, Cutler is an impressive 13-1, and that only loss was to Green Bay in 2007 when the Packers won the coin toss and Brett Favre threw an 82-yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime.

Cutler set several franchise passing records last season, when he threw for 4,526 yards, 25 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. In his 37-game career in Denver, he's completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 9,024 yards, 54 TDs and 37 interceptions.

Cutler was upset when Shanahan was fired as coach, and even requested that members of Shanahan's offensive staff be retained, which didn't happen.

He had started to come around, meeting several times with McDaniels and expressing an eagerness to learn his intricate Patriots-style attack that will replace the West Coast system he's been running since he was a rookie.

That all changed when word leaked that McDaniels had spoken with the Patriots about Cassel.

At the NFL owners' meetings in Southern California last week, McDaniels said the team was committed to Cutler, although he said no options, including trades, were being ruled out.

"I've always been optimistic," McDaniels said at the NFL meetings. "He's on our team, he's under contract, and I understand there's things we have to work toward in our relationship."

i keep hearing he goes to detroit, cuz his agent is the same agent of wr charles johnson. so detroit will likely give up theri 1rd 20th pick and some later round picks.

who knows tho, cuz i think denver will ask for a qb in return along with some picks in this trade with any team.

who said anything about not being "realistic" about my team anyway? i never said we were playoff bound...not once, i leave that to my fellow chiefs fan JL who is very optimistic. i know my team isn't near being the best out there and i also know my team is far from the worst like alot of people think they are too. i do know as of right now though with the way the offseason has gone and with the changes we have made we are definitely in a better situation to compete then your team is! FACT!

Better offense , need a to draft an O Lineman to protect Bulger's gay ass. If he has time to throw it's a wrap, see 3 seasons ago. S Jax is a beast if he can stay healthy this season. Decent wr's, but yours are better. Defense will be improved with Spags running the team and if we draft Curry we FINALLY get a Linebacker. BasiCCly I think our teams can be on the upswing if both coaches can turn things around. Both AFC and NFC are whack so anything can happen, see Dolphins. You have been enlightened.

better offense?

KC = 18.2 pts a game
StL = 14.5 pts a game

KC = 32 total offensive touchdowns
StL = 19 total offensive touchdowns

we also averaged more yards per game then you guys too but it was only 20 more, that really aint nothing to brag about is it...lol

I think it is safe to say with the offensive game plan we have coming in next season we should still have a better offense then you guys still. but who knows right?

I can say the same thing about LJ as of what you said about Jax too ya know, only difference is with LJ and his off the field antics other then that though they are pretty much even steven.

Both our teams need to get their heads outta their asses like you said, but to sit here and say your team is sofar ahead of mine is just crazy talk man.

There is a reason that we're picking #2. If Bulger has time to throw, we can put up some serious points. LJ is done, he's been declining the past 3 seasons because of too mant carries. Only the season will tell the truth.

It's more of Jackson being injury prone as to being beat down from 500 plus carries a season. But if he doesn't have a productive season and a full season it doesn't look good for us.

I'm going to have to agree with KC>STL.

The Rams QB situation is iffy because Bulger isn't as good as he used to be...they have pretty much no WR's and Jackson is a wild care whether he'll be healthy or not.

KC has a pretty good QB who if anything will throw 25 TD's because of the talent he has at the receiving core. If Gonzalez leaves, that'll be a big blow but they still have Bowe and Larry Johnson is looking to have a comeback year imo.
