Niether Denver game did he get doubled more than twice. I watched a few other games against KC & SD as well and never saw triple team.....but if Raider fan wants to pull that card that's fine.

heh if you say he hardly got doubled or tripled than that goes to show you how bad of a QB he had and yet still managed to get his yds with minimum passes thrown to him and playin injured throughout the season

It was bad QB yes but I would blame Turner more if I were you guys.

He would run in stupid situations and pretty much force the team to throw when the defenese knew it....We'll see if that changes with Shell.

Frerotte is worse than Collins

May be true, but Frerotte knows to look for his best receiver. Collins doesn't. If Frerotte had Moss, his numbers (Moss') would have jumped significantly because he would have had more balls thrown his way. Collins had Jerry Porter (who is as good as Chambers, BTW) to throw to.

and Moss didn't get tripled team last year at all..what are you smoking.

Now, I hate the Raiders, but there's no denying Moss' ability. There's no way in hell Chris Chambers is as good as Moss, or even close to his level. Don't get me wrong, I think Chambers is a good WR, but Moss and a grip of others are just on another level.

It was bad QB yes but I would blame Turner more if I were you guys.

I watched lots of Raiders games and I never seen them "point out" a triple coverage. maybe it was the games I didn't watch, but the ones I did...never.


Porter is better than Chambers....I could agree with that...Porter is awesome speed and size.


Only time will tell what Pep will do...but remember this thread when Chambers has a second straight pro bowl year with 1400 yards and 14+ td's

McMichael caught a decent amount of balls, but was not a force. He averaged under 10 yards per catch and was far from a threat. Any average receiver could have put up those numbers.

I agree with Fatal's points. Culpepper was lost without Moss... and I did see at times Moss was triple covered. Moss at one time had this look on his face like "why are you throwing it to me".... Collins almost got him killed throwing into triple coverage one time.
