I was there too, good game.

Crosby is an important part of the lineup, especially since he's been playing at an All-Star level all year. I don't see him hitting over .300 for the season but he makes the team a lot better offensively and defensively.

We were still 10-8, which is a much better win% than Oakland has, without both Vlad and K-Rod. And Shields, who obviously can't handle the closer role, blew like 3 saves against Chicago. And I'm positive K-Rod wouldn't have.

So basically what I'm trying to say is...just like I've said all season...NO. Oakland's done.

M's sweep the mets and are about to take four from oakland.
Nice

The A's would have swept the Mariners if Crosby didn't make the error on that double play ball... The M's one win in the series was a gift...

Today Saarloos came with a complete game shutout with seven strikeouts, four of which were Richie Sexson. (He usually strikes out ONE every 4 or 5 innings, ond only goes 4-6 innings.)

Haha. Anaheim's the second best team in the AL right now. Oakland, Seattle, and Texas are all done.

A's will finish ahead of the M's...All their young talent is starting to come together and I think they have an underated pitching rotation. I dont follow the A's like a do the Giants but I was impressed seeing them play against SF this weekened..then again even the Royals looked good against the Giants..
