Credit reports?

I heard that you get a free credit report every year. Are there any legit spots online to do this? Every website that I go to asks for cash but claims to be for free.

^ yeah, I'd just go to a car dealership and pretend like your interested in purchasing...they'll run your credit, and get a report...and you can just ask them for a copy...


Everywhere else I've checked was like $40

I work for citi and tell people to use annual credit report .com

It is ran by the three credit beaurus Equifax, Trans Union, & Experian. It says you get one free one a year but it will let you do as many as you want. You should run it for all three beaurus. The reports can vary with information. Most places when applying for loans check the Experian one. Experian is usually the most accurate and has the most info reported. To get your fico it is 14 bucks though. Worth it if you care.

i think there are free credit reports out there - but they don't come with your fico scores. You have to pay extra to get your scores. But watch out for all this, information is an incrediblly marketable nowadays. You'd be surprise how much your information is sold for.

i'm fucking with equifax right now. Credit bureaus are pretty shady - but i like the way they do business.
