gtfoh, you know what im saying...you can have credit by having car, personal loans, house, but credit cards are the easy way to FUCK up your credit. esp using for "living expenses".

and when I say pay cash i mean for every day living expenses. you hungry, pay cash at a fast food spot dont charge at a resturant. Save a couple checks for electronics, dont charge them onto a credit card. and if yo u do have to use a credit card pay it off at end of month.

basic fucking sense

you said use it for living when you get to NY. rent food etc....thats the LAST thing a credit card should be used for unless its a live or die situation or 1 foot out the door to eviction.

if you need to get a credit card just to find somewhere to live thats a pretty good indicator you probably arent ready to venture out that way.

You can just as easily fuck up your credit through the ways you posted. Simply missing a payment of ANY kind can fuck up your credit.

I AM GOING FOR SCHOOL. I AM TAKING OUT A SCHOOL LOAN WHICH WILL PAY FOR MY LIVING THERE. THE LOAN CHECK DOES NOT COME IN UNTIL MID SEPTEMBER BUT I MUST BE THERE BY MID AUGUST. THEREFORE, FROM MID AUG TO MID SEPT I MUST LIVE OFF OF MY SAVINGS. I'VE CALCULATED I HAVE ENOUGH TO DROP A DEPOSIT AND FIRST MONTHS RENT AND LIVE FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. FOR THE REMAINDER COUPLE OF WEEKS I MAY NOT HAVE THE MEANS TO BUY CERTAIN THINGS...IE FOOD OR WHATEVER VITAL THINGS I MAY NEED TO PURCHASE UNTIL I GET MY SCHOOL LOAN CHECK. Well, in his defense, its hard to get anything to begin without having credit history, whether it be good or bad. In order to GET the car and home loans, credit history is needed. The EASIEST way to establish credit, and sometimes, the ONLY way, is by getting some kind of credit card. Heck, all my friends had Bon (Macy's) cards as teens.

I had my car loan at 16 (i was working and had my dad co-sign) from then on out easy sailing. Very minimal cards throughout life, only used for emergencies, and right now I have 2 open for emergencies otherwise dont use them. I will occasionaly throw something on them (gas, night out at movies or whatever) but log in and pay it the very next day, just to keep it active and not dormant, and also for rewards as well.

but on whole the premise you have to have a credit card for good credit is false. you may open a card to start credit like you said but thats also not the only way. you can start credit through car loan, personal loan from bank if you have been a member in good standing, etc...

and in regards to your responce to I Pukokeki Ioulo Momu, no, i did not say you need a card, if you read even half ass thoroughly you would see i also said "credit line", which a house, car, and personal loan falls under......credit is fuckin credit, if your irresponsable then you will fuck your self over.........and you say you had a car loan at 16 cus of a co-signer...ok...you had help at such a young age, most of us aint like that.....some of us need to establish credit on our own, and with out established good credit, we aint gettin that car. and you said dont go to fast food with your card but you admit you go to the movies with it, c'mon player, your not soundin too good right now...........
