all the 9er fans I know hate the cowboys....the only cowboys fan I know likes the A's so we kinda band together against all our SF fan friends

it will never die IMO but it just sucks right now cause one team is clearly more dominant than the other and when u have lop sided rivalries then they kinda lose there touch but it will always be around and regardless which team sucks they will always be mentioned as a rivalry when they play

In my opinion if there's any heated rivalry for the niners at this point in time it's us and the Cardinals. The Seahawks own us, the Rams don't pose much of a threat, we rarely play the cowboys anymore, I've gotten over my hatred for the packers for how they use to violate us in the mid to late 90's just becuase I got mad respect for Brett Favre and we hardly ever play them. I know the corss bay rivalry between us and the Raiders will never die and I hate their fans with a passion but, lets face it were not even is the same conference that's more of a territorial thing. But we've had some damn good matchups against the Cardinals over the past few years.
