That song is dope as fuck..some cool old school Rick Rock..The Beat with Doonie is ill lounge/reflective shit and then I like how he replayed "Cell Therapy" by goodie mob at the end for Lurch.. I have a CD single for "Da Family" that has "Collage" on the B side with the inst. version but it is an inst. of the whole track with all 3 beats....Dont sleep on the whole album either, its got some dope ones on there

Yeah, Lurch outgrew the group...he was on that smoke a gang PCP and eat your girlfriend type of shit.

The group was Doonie, Lurch, and Rick Rock writing raps and Rick Rock and Mike Mosely on beats. Mosely did 2 beats I think and Rick did the rest. At the time I think they had a real different sound. Kind of some minimalist Soul/Dirty South/Space shit. I like that era of Rick Rock production.

My favorite track from that CD. That CD is one of the best CD's to ever drop. It is clean from start to finish, I can listen to the whole thing.

Rick-

What was the story with Mtume recording group or whatever the name was putting out the Cosmic Slop Shop? Was that James Mtume of Juicy Fruit fame? Did he sign your group? Anyway that CD was dope. Real original...I like that style, just like I dig the RBL "Eye For an Eye" beats.
