Cormega is one of the few rappers that puts real emotion into his music.

The True Meaning
is dope. If you like that one then you should definitely look for the album he dropped before that called The Realness. It's even better IMO.

Right on.

Have you heard The Testament? It was his real debut album instead of The Realness, but it got shelved and didn't get released until 2005 or so.

I haven't heard it yet, but I'm looking for it.

True Meaning is my favorite Cormega album. I can bang every single track on that album..production is laid back for the most part, but really fits his flow and the content of the album. I feel like he really got Nas on that "Love In Love Out" track too.

Okay, damn....

THE MAYOR (right on for the link) or anyone who knows...

I just listened to "Coco Butter" on The Testament and the sample he used is the same sample we used on "Get Yours" from Tha Funxsouljaz Neva Walk Alone album back in 1998.

I can't for the life of me remember where the sample came from right now and it's killing me.

Here's a link to download "Coco Butter" from Cormega... http://download.yousendit.com/EF22FBFD14B8A556

And here's a link to download "Get Yours" from Tha Funxsouljaz... http://download.yousendit.com/EDB51B9B6E71A776

Does anyone recognize the sample?

If anyone can name the sample, please do.

By the way, that whole The Testament album is ridiculously good. I think I might like it better than both The Realness and The True Meaning.

That "Montana Diary" track is heated.
