i wouldnt recommend it unless its going to be used alot.. but if its for an unknown company thats not well established yet.. id wait, and theres a difference between trademarking and copyrighting.

whats the difference between trademarking and copyrighting?? i've been interested in doing it to mine..cuz its used alot!

well the difference is that copyright is what lets say a graphic designer who made the logo would use. Trademark is what you would associate with the product you sell and then theres also service mark which associates with whatever service the logo relates to.. in other words.. copyright protects people from copying the author's logo, and trademark protects people from even trying to do a similar logo.
