Controlling Your Dreams...

Anyone ever experianced a dream where you are actually in control of some aspects of the dream or the whole thing? I know myself personally i have had a few of these dreams where i could control certian aspects in the dream or what i actually did.

Im curious to see if anyone else has ever experianced anything like this, or if its a unique ability that only some are able to do.

Its crazy to me that you could control somthing in a sub concious state of mind...

I had one experience where I controlled my dream - about 5 years ago. I was standing beside a hill next to the sea (I don't know where exactly, locations are rarely real in dreams for me!). On this hill, there was a big wooden ship - I dont' know how the hell it got there. Suddenly, a group of pirates (about 4)attacked me and chopped off my right forearm. After being in 'pain' for a split second, I remember 'consciously' saying to myself - "get fucked, this is my dream!", after which I stuck my arm back on, the pirates dissapeared and I pushed the ship back into the water.

I don't know what the hell made me do it, but I wish I could do it every night! Then I could get up to some real good shit...

I remember 'consciously' saying to myself - "get fucked, this is my dream!

This is LUCID dreaming. http://www.dreamviews.com/index.php heres a good site. It doesn't have any "spook" stuff going on so everyone will be able to dig it.

The only thing I can't do in my dreams is look behind me. I have limited color in my dreams (so far the ONLY color I have saw besides black,white and grey is BLUE.) Some say you can't read while dreaming and this is total B.S. in fact if you want to become lucid you should try to read.

EDIT: No one talks with their lips in my dreams. Its all mental.

Everytime I have a lucid dream now I get scared because the first thing I want to do is wake up and I can't. As a kid it was cool, but now I just want out and I struggle for 5 minutes or so just waking myself up. I don't know why I do this, but it's the worst feeling.

Man ALL THE TIME. I have dreams constantly where i know im in the muthefucka. it aint bad its actually quite an experience. i like to fly in my dreams though - it feels like freedom. im entirely in control of whatever i wanna do - whether its touch a bitches ass,or see relatives who passed on that i never got a chance to speak with on a mature level when i was younger. its a trip when your in the middle of a dream, and you realize your in it. Its the second you say to yourself "im in a dream/im dreaming!" The only thing about it is,sometimes its such a great feeling i wake up from excitement.

when i was young about 10- 11,i used to watch beakmans world on saturday mornings and there was a thing about dreaming. how to take control of them. shits real mayn. i get it all the time.

yeah when i was younger everytime i got into a fight in my dreams if would be slow motion and id wake up hella pissed and frustrated. but the slow motion shyt stopped a couple of years ago.

I have expierenced something simlar. I didn't wake up and think of something specific that I wanted to do, just that I enjoyed the dream and wanted it to continue. So I would wake up interuptidly, try to fall back asleep to resume the dream and it would work. On occasion I have woken up more than once and continued the same dream.

I would also like to say that I am very much into my dreams. For long periods of time I would wake up, head to my computer and type down any dream that I had. Sometimes they would be so moving that I would get up out of bed in the middle of the night and go into another room to do this because I was afraid that I might forget it. It is also my opinion that if you write down your dreams you will more often have and remember them when you wake up.

I don't recall ever having control in any of my dreams.

i read something saying that like 99% of people having dreams about fighting,are almost allways disapointed,it has to do with having insecurities.how we may think were great fighters or not,but deep inside we fear someone who is more powerfull then us,i dunno if that makes sense but when i read it made alot of sense.
The first time i realized i was dreaming in a dream was like 4 years ago,was rollin down highway 101 with my mom and all of a sudden i jus see gangstas chillin on the freeway.you know like when you roll down fillmore and you got a gang of fools kicking it in the streets ignoring cars tryin to get by.so anyways i see these thugs on the freeway and im like,ahhhhhhhhh helllllllllll nawwww,theres no way in hell that this would ever happen,so i pulled the handbreak ,got out of the car,opened the trunk,and there was a bunch of futuristic guns like in men in black.Then i jus started runnin around gunnin em all down,and points were tinging of them like in old school arcade shooter.it was dope,really really dope.

Before you start writing you should continue to lay down and relax. I'm gonna post a couple of excerpts from my dream journal.

I see an attractive woman. Black shoulder length hair, curvy body and wore a dress/skirt. We get in a car but I looked to my right passenger while driving a car and saw the antichrist baby from passion of christ. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw a dead/zombie woman. I told myself I was dreaming and sleeping on my back. I woke up and I was sleeping flat on my back.

I was at a lake (dan foley possibly) and I see all types of animals. Frogs, leopards, several types of snakes. I fly away (in a northern direction) from this place back to my "leaders" (possibly 12 of them) and instead of giving them a report myself I tell them to go ahead and scan me. From that point on they probe me with these wires and get the info. They send me on some sort of mission.

I'm running with others in a house that has rooms and furniture that are large/spacious and cramped/small. Im running from some type of monsters but the monsters cant see us if we are covered up. Stone cold steve austin was in the dream. Someone was handcuffed and 2 people hade a key. A black lady and myself. After the black lady opened the first handcuff I took her key and tried to open the second handcuff. It didnt work, I remember I had a key (or either I created this key) and I opened it. I learned the monsters could be defeated by rice, or being hit with water. The monsters kinda resemble the mudman from the batman cartoon. The monsters cannot travel through hot places but you must hide from the monsters by covering up completely.

Me on bw williams after teh redisgn right hand lane to turn but when the light is green for the opposite traffic I ran the light and kept straight. I am driving through the hood in a white mustang. I look to the right and see Jaws as i continue driving I see dub d. Cam is in the car with me. when i came to the park their was a baseball game to the left of me. I hear some people discussing something. and one of them sounds like my brother (phil) and i think to myself the people are not philosiphers. I'm now by elsa widamen school and I'm pushing a baby in a stroller. I'm wearing a bryman college uniform. two girls are behind me pushing strollers. one bumps me and i bump her hard with my stroller. she mentions she has a kid her stroller and i apologize for bumping her. she doesnt take offense and both of them go to the boys club parking lot and turn to barking dogs. Grits is with me and he sees a barking dog in the boys club parking lot. he picks it up to make it fight the other dogs. He puts it down because the dog is wounded and has maggots on it.grits shows me his dirty hand after picking up the dog.
He says the dog has a deep wound, we continue up mini drive and we come to the store. the store is no longer on the left but straight ahead. I'm at the store counter ,two white people come in and make a purchase. Another white guy comes in and asks if they bought the condoms. I look to my left and think to myself these guys are fags. I look back at the counter and I look back at the beef jerkey rack. A young man walks in and he starts taking the beef jerkey off the rack he counts 7 pieces for himself and he gives me three. I'm embarresed to take it and he leaves the store. the cashier comes to the counter and i ask her who that man was. she tells me he is the owner of the bank. i'm at some house and the bank owner is there. i talk to him about the bank and about life, he is an easy going non chalant person. i'm in my garage talking to maya on the phone. mom is with me in the garage sweeping. we discuss going to hawaii. mom tells us to go and to have fun. the banker throws a rap contest, ten females are involve. at the end of the contest i see a throne, i hear people singing a hook about religion.


Excuse all the typos, but I was trying to remember this shit (when I wrote it). The second one was sick because it goes in order and Maya (she was in my dream and she is my ex), called and woke me up.

Yeah i have dreams where i have full control
of everything...
and many dreams.. where im a different person..
in different times... and with people i;ve never met..
but in the dreams we're somehow connected....

speaking from an occult point of view...
I've heard our souls are projected onto the astral plane...
when we dream..and when we are there..
we have the power to create our own reality..

but like Darth Sidious said..
to become an ALL powerful jedi..
you must embrace..and wider view of the force!!!
