I KNOW THERE IS A THREAD JUST FOR THIS REASON BUT I HAVE TRYED REGISTRY MECHANIC, SPYWARE DOCTOR AND AD-WARE.. I STILL GET THESE FUCKIN POP UPS THAT JUST POP UP WHEN IM NOT EVEN BROWSING.. THEY TALK AND SING NOW IT FUCKIN SUCKS.. THERE ARE A BUNCH POSTED TO DOWNLOAD IN THE THREAD BUT NOBODY SAYS WICH ONES ACTUALLY WORK.. ANYBODY KNOW OF ANY THAT ACTUALLY WORK!?!?!

sometimes if you go into your add/remove programs you can see programs that you didnt install and if you remove them it can get rid of those types of pop ups.

for one thing u should use Mozilla FireFox as your browser..
it blocks all pop ups

Yeah firefox is the shit but if the pop ups are coming in explorer when your not even surfing then you have something installed on your computer that causes them a lot of P2P programs come with them bundled in the software. Get a good pop up blocker use firefox and uninstall any programs that you didnt need.
