From what I see the Mixtape hustle iz starting 2 look like the compilation hustle of the mid 90's. Oversaturatted & fucked up. But if u had a choice what would u break bread on, a quality mixtape from one of your fav artist with all new trackz or a compilation from your fav artist with all new material?

I liike comps but I would have 2 choose the mixtape cuz I love 2 hear a tight freestyle over a popular industry beat & radio interviewz(something u almost never if ever here on a comp).

Mix vs Comp

They both hold equal weight if they tight. Like you said tight rappin over a well known industry beat (especially if they rip it harder than the original) is gonna go. On the other hand your favs and some cats you never heard of rippin hard on a Comp priceless. The Comp gotta come from somebody that is reputable that can bring niggas together though.

comps anyday...fuck a mixtape with their 2 min songs over a recycled beat. give me some original material.

not saying they dont have their place,i bump my fair share of mixtapes, but to choose one over a compilation is ridiculous

They (Bay artists...) should bring them back just to switch it up... I'm sure they take more effort to kill Vs. a mixtape, but I wouldn't hesitate on buyin a quality comp. Don't you remember them Cell Block mixtapes with like the Luniz, Dru Down, etc.,? I mean those were some bomb ass mobb albums.

I LIKE COMPS BETTER. AND THE COMPS IN THE 90'S WERE SOME OF THE BEST BAY AREA RAP ALBUMS.
