“Bill Gates has donated more money that you and I will ever see in our lifetime. Look at his donations for school's, libraries, and other education needs in the U.S. Bill Gates donated $100million at once to fight AIDS (outside the U.S.). Check all of what he did for India. Look up The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. I would guess that he has donated well over a billion dollars to fight disease (he has expressed great concern for disease in this world) and to strengthin our education.”
I’m not really interested in discussing Bill Gates, but I know there are a lot of reasons why he does donate to certain organizations that actually benefit him in the long run. Personally, I think since he IS the richest man in the world he should do more, but that’s just my opinion.
”He did steal an idea or two, but would you not do the same if you would eventually become one of the richest men in the world?”
Well, first off if my memory is correct, didn’t he steal ideas from one of his buddies? To me that’s fucked up and goes against my personal morals. If I am wrong and it wasn’t his buddy, I still couldn’t take credit and make billions off of someone else’s idea. Second, never in my life have I ever dreamed or fantasized about becoming one of the richest men in the world. Sure, I could do a lot of good if I did have that kind of money, but I’m sure I wouldn’t be one of the richest men for very long.
